It was easy to use to create a website.

It did have a learning curve to some layouts.

The ability to manipulate everything to create the exact look that you want. Super easy to build a site.

There are almost too many themes, it's hard to choose which would be best.

Wix is for anyone
What do you like best about the product?
Which has an interface easy enough for anybody who knows nothing about websites to still create a beautiful website.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me it can be too basic but using the code boxes allows me to add in complexities
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the need to have an easy wysiwyg website. The other designers with no Web experience are able to edit it when I am unavailable.

What do you like best about the product?
This program as it all. You can open an account and it will walk you through everything! You can do email marketing, ads, social media connections, and a website all in one place. It's perfect for someone that wants to throw together marketing for their small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email marketing tool isn't great for large businesses that could have a large subscriber list. Website designs are also limited. You cannot recode or customize some aspects of your site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have realized how great having everything in one place is for marketing. Instead of logging into several marketing management sites, you can have one login. They also have great apps for email marketing on the go! I have sent several marketing emails right from my phone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend the site templates if you are short on time. You can get all of your hosting done through Wix, it's completely turn key!
Wix is the only web builder for me!

I absolutely love Wix for web building and domain hosting. It is simple, easy to use, with professional/contemporary templates for all. Whether you're an experienced designer, or quite the beginner, you'll find Wix to be top notch and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes at this time.

Least evil of the web design for dummies tools
What do you like best about the product?
If you know how to make basic design features in InDesign or even Microsoft Word, you can use Wix. The tools to add graphics, photos, buttons, and other content are easy to intuitively figure out and you can move them around easily. Wix customer service is also some of the best I've dealt with. They have helped us trouble shoot domain registry issues, technical glitches on the website, and other questions. They are super quick to respond and very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to build each page in a way that fits with the other pages. The templates I've found haven't quite worked for me, so its a lot of building pages, copying pages, and reformatting things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small nonprofit, we are able to create a functional and professional website with little web development knowledge, and we can update it quickly and from any computer. The ability to manage content and quickly make changes/updates is so important for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I absolutely recommend Wix for anyone tasked with managing a website who doesn't have a specific background in web development. I can translate my Adobe knowledge into functional use with Wix pretty quickly.
Great For Newbies
What do you like best about the product?
WIX offers a lot of flexibility compared to SquareSpace. While some templates and the interface don't feel as polished, it is much more intuitive to use for someone with zero coding background.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface of editing a site is a bite bulky and can be confusing at times. This is an area Squarespace does a better job.

Wix is easy to use, and has lots of customizable options. It has allowed us to create a decent site at low cost
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the most beautiful aesthetically appealing color options. Very boxy, and I wish that they're was an option to add videos without paying.
