Easy, beginner software for website design
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is a great option for people looking for an easy way to design and launch a website! From sign up to launch, it's a great step-by-step process and very easy to manage. I am able to create and maintain content easily on my own, and have confidence in sharing access with other members of my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all free-premium products, you do have to pay for your own domain, otherwise it does include the wix name. While this isn't a huge deal breaker, it's good to be aware of when choosing Wix over other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The wix website has been a great source for an intranet service for our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to set up and edit! It's a nice resource if you have time to go in and adjust things as needed. It can be a quick launch for any website. There is a great variety of pre-made themes and templates, and a great variety of "widgets" or applications to incorporate in your site.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and totally customizable Wix is. I can completely change EVERYTHING. But, they do have amazing templates if you're not the creative type. Basically the easiest drag-and-drop editing tool you can ask for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that they have been getting rid of app integrations in favor or more native apps. Bring back Zapier, guys!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My website looks professional and creative without sacrificing usability. Plus, the mobile editor is killer.

Play around with the free version! It's easy to get to know.

I liked all the options available. The colors, and pictures were fun to play with.

It was not very user friendly. I had to put things in specified spots when I wanted it elsewhere.

Their formatted templates that make it easy to create a clean website design.

There is not always 100% flexibility in terms of aesthetic.

Wix has allowed us to create barn wood sites specifically for each of our showrooms. This helps us to target those local areas.
Wix - Great for basic portfolios!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and customize. When you are ready to take more control of the layout of the website, you can easily switch to "Editor," which is also fairly intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. I have heard negative reviews on the Analytics and e-commerce features, but I have not used them to say otherwise.

Having an online presence using a platform that is easy to use and update.

Great tool if you find WordPress too convoluted and hard to navigate. It's a great option to get your online presence established in a way that is visually-appealing and easy to achieve.

Easy to set-up and use plus has lots of great features to make yourself a unique website!

It is difficult to set up the e-commerce side of the website. Not as user friendly as the just building the website.
