Wix is the only web builder for me!
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Wix for web building and domain hosting. It is simple, easy to use, with professional/contemporary templates for all. Whether you're an experienced designer, or quite the beginner, you'll find Wix to be top notch and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes at this time.

Least evil of the web design for dummies tools
What do you like best about the product?
If you know how to make basic design features in InDesign or even Microsoft Word, you can use Wix. The tools to add graphics, photos, buttons, and other content are easy to intuitively figure out and you can move them around easily. Wix customer service is also some of the best I've dealt with. They have helped us trouble shoot domain registry issues, technical glitches on the website, and other questions. They are super quick to respond and very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to build each page in a way that fits with the other pages. The templates I've found haven't quite worked for me, so its a lot of building pages, copying pages, and reformatting things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small nonprofit, we are able to create a functional and professional website with little web development knowledge, and we can update it quickly and from any computer. The ability to manage content and quickly make changes/updates is so important for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I absolutely recommend Wix for anyone tasked with managing a website who doesn't have a specific background in web development. I can translate my Adobe knowledge into functional use with Wix pretty quickly.
Great For Newbies
What do you like best about the product?
WIX offers a lot of flexibility compared to SquareSpace. While some templates and the interface don't feel as polished, it is much more intuitive to use for someone with zero coding background.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface of editing a site is a bite bulky and can be confusing at times. This is an area Squarespace does a better job.

Wix is easy to use, and has lots of customizable options. It has allowed us to create a decent site at low cost

Not the most beautiful aesthetically appealing color options. Very boxy, and I wish that they're was an option to add videos without paying.

Wix has helped to create a professional site where we are able to show off our services and answer questions and schedule appointments for our patients
Easy Website Tool for Basic Website Creation
What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use, and almost anyone can get a website up and running with little or no experience in web design or development.
What do you dislike about the product?
You're fairly limited in design options. Most of the time you have to stick to the template, and if you try to modify it your design will get thrown off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We helped doctors get websites up and running very quickly. Most of them didn't need anything fancy, just a simple website that talked about their office and had contact info.

I love that it is so easy to use. I am not really computer savy but this made it so easy to create a website!

Sometimes it took longer to add things to the website but it still did the job.

some of my clients are very new to web so having a drag and drop is great for them to create content and easy for us to use together when it comes to marketing.

When it comes to tracking marketing goals and analytics you have to jump through some hoops and hope you can piece things together.

I work with a lot of 501 (c) 3 non profit companies and they need just a small platform to share info.
As a non profit we don't have a lot to spend and this works for us.

its really easy and free. the upgraded version is really easy to use as well. It's worth the money

The flexibility and ease of use. Wix is very user friendly.

They make you pay for your domain name every year, although not advertised in the beginning.

No business problems. Benefits are gaining new clientele.

We built the most basic website really quickly with no hassle what so ever.

Its all from templates, drag and drop with no true flexibility to get a decent site. The sites are slow to load, hard to optimise.

Its just a super quick way to get a website up and running.
