This is not the software to use to build your website
What do you like best about the product?
Has the potential to be kept extremely simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although its marketed as simple, it cam across very unstable. Could not get images to lock in place. Everything you add is an extra monthly fee. No plug ins work with this software. Its not an ideal long term solution.

Free Model is Great to Start
What do you like best about the product?
Free Model is Great to Start for new businesses or efforts. Whether its a personal need or for your start-up, Wix has a great template model to choose from. If you decide you like what you see, you can pay the upgrade so your website loses most of the embedded Wix promo's. The SEO tutorial is great and I learned alot just from reading instructions!
What do you dislike about the product?
The free model is rather basic where I would like to have a few more features since the biggest draw to pay is actually losing the wixsite. feature on your URL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform serves to be a placemarker for the even more popular Facebook page of the company. It is my hope that one day this site will outpace the Facebook page and both will begin to reciprocate better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The free, basic model is the way to go. After your business or brand grows, you can opt to upgrade for more features and benefits. I use multiple website builders for different ventures. Many other platforms offer the same deal but I am impressed most with the ease of use with Wix.
Absolutely wonderful... but sometimes disappointing.

It's a BEAUTIFUL platform. Easy to use for front end design. I love how Wix is creating a world of its own.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels really big. It's also frustrating because I'll start to do something to find out it's not supported by Wix. The wix audience is pretty confused.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is why I have my current job. My current position exists because my employer wanted to inhouse digital work. They spent close to $14,000 over three years l on an outdated website that couldn't even offer ecommerce sales.

Communication with corporate is getting better and more organized. Don't get frustrated because they are improving every day!
Wix was great for small business
What do you like best about the product?
It was so easy to use and I created a great wedding website within a week and easily could teach someone who had no experience with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really wasn't anything that I didn't like. It was simple to use. I didn't come across any problems for what I needed to create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to create a wedding photographer website.
Wix made website customizing easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I like it that there is basically no coding needed to customize my site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that some things are harder to customize if outside the template.

I use Wix to display our site in a modern fashion. I realized that Wix has very modern templates and makes it easy!
Just Testing it Out!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the updated templates. There are lots of options and flashy templates. I like that we can add video and pictures.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't get to the html on templates. If we wanted to write in different components we cannot do that. We are running into little things we used to be able to do in GoDaddy that we cannot do in Wix. Some of the sites look very much the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With GoDaddy not sure if they are moving to a different pricing option - we are testing out other options for website building companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it out! Since we are just in testing mode, I don't have any specific recommendations, but it seems to be a great option for us.

It was pretty easy to get started. Sign-up was quick and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customisation options for your site are very limited (if you wanted free options), and the (domain).wix.com doesn't seem legitimate to potential customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gets the job done if you need a website on the fly. I was in a pinch and needed a gallery site, and this was just enough to get me where I needed to be.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have experience with creating your own website, then this is a good host; however, if you're new to making/maintaining a website, this may not be the best choice for you.
Many great templates in this website builder
What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop functionality - very convenient to use. Over 500 handy and pre-populated templates - much better than elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though there is a huge collection of templates, it's a bit difficult to customize them the way I want to. Ads are quite visiblle - a bit more than I expected. Few struggles with e-commerce tools in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used some of the pre-design templates and it still works pretty well.
Great Site & User Friendly Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user friendly. From the most advanced users to the most basic this is a joy to work with for almost all of my needs. The customer support is also wonderful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The site is lacking a lot features that I would love to see integrated in the future. I would especially love to see the addition of the "share" buttons as a widget on websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the site for a number of nonprofits in order to promote their services and request donations.

If you are looking for a simple platform that is going to make your business grow from your website wix.com is the best software. It will accommodate all of your website needs. The support representatives are always very welcoming and friendly. I have not had a problem with the site being down in years of using it. I strongly recommend using this software
Love the use of AI
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to use AI to quickly build a site that's customized to your industry and intended use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to customize AI websites without losing benefits of the AI builder

Needed an online sales platform. Has also given me some exposure in the industry, in a way that was unexpected

Great for those who want a beautiful looking website, even if you don't know how to code and don't have the best eye for design.
