More Paywalls and Disappointing Support Than Before
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, flexible design options, and support for shoppable sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not as easy to use as the old Wix. There seem to be more paywalls than before, and the customer service has been disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s easy to create websites and then transfer them to clients.
User-Friendly Platform with Impressive Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve created tons of websites using Wix studio. It is user-friendly, beginner-friendly, and has a lot of integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the high fees and I wish they offer more website themes. Also contacting Support is almost impossible. They should make that easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the integration of other software’s, which allows for easier use program
Outstanding Customer Support That Goes Above and Beyond
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service is incredible. I hate chat support and prefer phone, but I got Andrew on chat support. He was not only kind and efficient, he even walked outside of his work building (doesn't get good service inside) to check the integrity of my forms on Wix. What an incredible worker!! He definitely deserves a raise for his dedication to the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more streamline features and options - in forms and interactive elements. Wix seems very limited and manual with CMS inputs that don't work and can cost hours of technical support time with teams. I also would like more options with being able to have menus appear at different parts of my pages as the user scrolls without it being the main header so I can keep the hero top design unique and clean. More control over dynamic animations would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am impressed by the interface and it's flexibility for the most part to put anything anywhere you like. I dis like how most items need to be stacked because i can't properly layer them and understand the challenge with dynamic content changing per device size. I have tried a lot of web builders and I do appreciate how the interface allows you to really lean into your imagination and in general not break or limit creativity or placement. What makes Wix stand out however, is it's customer service. It's the biggest reason I stay over other platforms. You can't beat live human service and while I do appreciate Kera for short reminders or fixes, she becomes confused often or the material she is operating on is outdated so her instructions describe elements that are no longer there. So the phone support any time - literally any time is what I value the most. You just can't beat that kind of service.
Flexible Templates, Customization and easy Interations Make Wix Stand Out
What do you like best about the product?
Wix enables users to start with standard templates and then move on to custom code and integrations. This provides a quick starting point and helps avoid any unpleasant surprises later, such as discovering that your template lacks certain functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Google AdWords is a great idea, but it lacks transparency and control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are making a strong effort to engage third-party developers in order to address issues.
Exceptional Customer Support That Sets Wix Apart
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support. Hard to see such understanding people, even in the big corporations don't have staff so highly skilled as Wix does.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really tell, I think all is superior!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have my homepage built on the Wix. I find it very easy to build yourself a homepage on Wix, without needing to know anything about coding etc.
Great Features with Some Migration Hassles
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Wix Studio offers more development options with the Velo and Wix CLI. I enjoy using their new AI platform to generate marketing materials and even create the website itself. There's a lot to like about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't migrate a regular Wix build to Wix Studio, which is frustrating. Also, if you have a premium plan on Wix that's built on a regular plan, you can't use many of the features unless you upgrade to the studio version, which feels kinda unfair. The initial setup isn't easy at all because it takes forever to load, and it's kind of a pain to deal with.

Wix Studio makes it easy to build and manage my website, offering options for development like Velo and Wix CLI, and using AI to generate marketing content.
Streamlined Multiplatform Design Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Wix Studio resolves websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile, making the editing process for each platform easier. This helps enhance our customer experience significantly. I also appreciate the many design features Wix Studio offers, which assist in designing a website more effectively. Additionally, the initial setup was relatively easy once we got familiar with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if a font size set for the desktop, like 14, could automatically adjust to a smaller size on the mobile site. I am not sure this is done currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Wix Studio for designing websites, and it resolves resolution across all platforms. Editing for each platform is easier, improving our customer experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and user-friendly it is to create a personal website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features can be a little 'clunky'. Even though it is easy, it would be even better if there was a drag and drop option to add elements to the website.

Wix Studio is benefiting me by providing a free, easy-to-use tool for creating a professional portfolio of my work, which is a requirement for what I do.
Versatile Platform, But Add-On Costs Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like Wix Studio because it's an all-in-one platform, which is super helpful for me as a solopreneur and a neurodivergent person. Having everything in one place reduces work sprawl and tech stack issues for me. It's like, having one app to rule them all makes everything better. I appreciate that it partners with payment solutions that work in South Africa, offering a range of options there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like their payment plan and add-on payment plans. They could be better. The minimum you get with your website, like the email marketing, seems low compared to other places like GoDaddy. The number of free emails you get just with your website is really low compared to other competitors. I also found the initial setup not that easy; there was a learning curve, especially when I added a business email. It was too much of a pain, so I abandoned using the Google Workplace with Wix completely.

Wix Studio is an all-in-one platform where I host my website, manage email marketing, and schedule tasks in one place. It also partners with payment solutions that work in South Africa, reducing the need to switch between platforms.

The features I like most are the user interface, drag-and-drop functionality, tips, guides, and tutorials, which allow me to provide professional service more efficiently than before.

Some of the features in Wix Studio get a little quirky if I'm not careful, getting misaligned or not flowing correctly.
