Wix is the best website maker for a tech illiterate like myself!
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is so easy to use, anyone from a rookie to a professional website designer can create stunning websites for themselves without any hassle. One can create a website from scratch or use a template, which is a really helpful feature for someone like me. Not only this, it even suggests the best template based on your purpose of creating the website. Hence, you can make a business website, a personal portfolio, or anything else with absolute ease. The same is the case with Wix Logo Maker. It has an amazing collection of templates at your disposal and its feature of suggesting great logos based on your brand type is very helpful. When it comes to managing the website, whether it is creating, scheduling and posting articles on the blog, or maintaining a video library (if your business requires something like that), all are very simple to do. Additionally, easy to create email marketing campaigns, view analytics, among so many other great features makes your experience of managing your website so nice!
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to Wix's premium plans, they are a bit costlier than its competitors. Another issue I face personally is difficulty in changing website templates. I have a website on wix that I use as my work portfolio and I wanted to make a few changes to it but since it felt very chaotic to change the website template, I had to create a new website altogether. Once I started working on the new website all over again, I realized how annoying and time-consuming it is to design a website from the start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All my business websites were created using Wix. It has a lovely interface and while creating a website is personally an annoying task for me (on any website maker), the managing and maintaining part is much easier on Wix than on any of its competitors' websites. I have to add articles on my company's blog on a regular basis and it's such a great experience doing that on Wix. It also allows me to track website analytics easily. Adding videos to the website library is just a matter of a click of a button and, voila! you are done. Being a (somewhat) tech-illiterate, and someone who doesn't enjoy technology so much, Wix definitely makes this task less tedious for me.

What do you like best about the product?
There are certain ways that Wix makes it easy to create a website. They recently connected with Unsplash, which allows you to upload all kinds of great photos. This is a fantastic update!
What do you dislike about the product?
It just isn't as versatile as it should be. You cannot create a very complex website with pull-down menus and connections between webpages. It seems to make it easy to make a great website, but it doesn't.

Trying to create a great organizational website.
Slow, but great for beginners!

Even for a complete novice like me Wix provides the tools to build a great-looking site at a low cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once set up, the site is tricky to edit with an overwhelming number of choices. The Add sidebar alone has 21 different options. For me the editing could do with being simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with promotions. I offer several different speaking choices, which can be confusing. So I send potential clients to the site so that they can select the speaker that is best suited for their needs rather than have me try to explain.

The concept of drag and drop applications into websites is way encouraging for people like me.
What do you dislike about the product?
More features are pending development. Though the development team is hearing our concerns. It is very hard for me to wait for the feature I want to get

Easy to create new pages, not much spammy code as other platforms

The Wix Editor is a heavy load, and sometimes it can show bugs while editing. Also, there is a limit of 100 static pages.

Look for the CMS that supports your needs. Take into account the 100-page limit.

Wix is a fantastic and very easy professional tool that helping me with creating an awesome website for my services, I am not a professional web designer but Wix gave me all the tools and options I needed to build my online website/portfolio

I didn’t find flaws in using Wix... It’s customizable and very easy to use "But sometimes it being slow in editing pages"

Wix helping me "Right Now" to create a website for my small online business "as a graphic designer" with low effort and provide me amazing tools, options, and templates for creating the pages of my website

What do you like best about the product?
I've found Wix to be the perfect combination between customizability and ease of use. Their site editor is my favorite thing to design with, and I build all my clients' web designs exclusively on Wix. They have SO many powerful features built right into their sites, such as mailing lists, social media integrations, e-commerce, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their tech support can be challenging to contact. I occasionally run into issues when using their site builder that make it more challenging to customize how my elements will look. For example, when I work on a repeater, sometimes the text for each item will show up in a different place in the editor than where it will be in the final product. Most of these things are solved by refreshing the page, though. Overall, I don't know of any significant issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Wix, I can build and manage beautiful, SEO-friendly sites that create an excellent usability experience for my clients and their website viewers. I can eliminate the need for external platforms such as eCommerce, mailing lists, bookings - since all that is available within Wix. It makes my and my clients' lives easier!
