Easy to build but not easy customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease to build a brand and website with Wix was incredible! I was able to create a custom site for my brand, style it just as I dreamed of with the click and drag of a button, and customize each page to my exact desire! I really think it is the simplest of all the drag-and-drop site builders that exist on the market today. At the time, I was very green as far as site-building goes, but that didn't matter with Wix. There were additional tools for a more seasoned builder to use, but for the newbies, this was the way to go for sure.
What do you dislike about the product?
the thing that puts me to the neutral side of this review is the customer service. I signed up under a special plan and when that expired, it was not clear what the next step would be. When I was overcharged, it was a struggle first to hear back from someone who clearly understood my position, but when I did I had to go through three representatives just to get my answer. Eventually, after many days, they corrected their mistake but it was a great struggle to overcome that makes me second guess doing business with them again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I was using Wix, I was building my brand and website. I liked the ease and simplicity their tools allowed me to do this. It took the pressure off knowing how to do things because their system was so easy to use and learn!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just know that for as simple and easy-to-use as Wix is, if you find yourself in need of support, be prepared for your problem to be solved slowly.

The UI is incredibly easy to get the hang of. You can build a fantastic-looking site in minutes.

Some of the features are very limited. I don't recommend it for a large corporation, but if you're an entrepreneur or SMB looking to get off the ground, this is the fastest and best way to go.

I've used Wix to help small businesses build an attractive online presence. Once you work with an individual to figure out their navigation strategy, it is really easy and fun to build a site with this platform.

What do you like best about the product?
You can see edits in real-time and precisely what it will look like on your site while editing. This makes editing things small and big seamless and easy for those just learning how to design or make a website without any coding experience, like many other website creation sites where you need it for a flawless look.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix is a bit slower than others (such as WordPress) on how quickly pages load. You also constantly have to check the website for things that may have broken throughout the week, as it doesn't tell you - which is a bit tedious and frustrating at times.

Designing a website from scratch with no coding experience while also making it beautiful! Wix has been perfect for this!
Easy builder, but lacks professional look
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is definitely an easy website builder. I have put together sample sites in an evening. And there are a number of layouts and animations. Maybe the most diverse set of layouts for drag and drop websites. Also very nice that you can edit the mobile version of the site independently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be problematic when dealing with a lot of elements on one page. And I can almost always seem to spot a site that was designed with Wix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, Wix is an easy-to-use site builder. Even for beginners, a simple site can be set up in an hour or so if you have the copy available or in your head.

Its interface is clean and intuitive. You don't need many tutorials to know what you are doing.

It's a service. I don't feel much like my page is my own.

I needed a quick way to set up a basic website before I had a deeper knowledge of methods to do that. Wix was often suggested to me through ads, so going along was the fastest and easier way to accomplish that.

Wix is an amazing resource to use for websites. It is very easy to use, and you can design professional-looking websites within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more template-based options for designing websites. It would also be nice to have more options to integrate social media accounts.

Using Wix has been an easy solution for our department. We use it to create a website that allows others to find more information about our department, our employees, and the opportunities that we provide for others to join.

Simple, yet still rather customizable. I was able to build a small website in a matter of an hour or so.

It wasn't as customizable as I would have liked, but for the price and ease of use not bad.

Building websites for companies that don't need something elaborate and expensive.
Most easy software to use for building website
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward to use and user-friendly interface. The eCommerce integration is effortless and effective. The analytics shown of the website, according to how many people visit the page and the time they spend, is precious and informative. The Wix app is the best feature of the entire thing. Wix app enables us to add products, change the prices, review the stock of products, and also add in the gallery. The Wix app gives notifications for each activity on the website and makes the post-launch part of the website straightforward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some glitches and issues with the alignment. Wix doesn't give you complete freedom of design. There are some restrictions that we get, such as the name change in videos of how the videos will play. The hover interaction boxes can add excellent effects on the page, but there are glitches when using the hover boxes. The text gets disappeared or becomes hidden.
Also, the mobile version of the website is challenging to manipulate and doesn't give any freedom. Bootstrap is not well integrated; hence some issues are faced when changing into a mobile version.

With Wix, we don't need to have a coding experience. We can create unique functional websites with a drag and drop facility and tailor them according to our needs. Video editng and photot edit also can be done directly on wix and you can also uplaod your own fonts. Add as much as galleris as you can becaus ethey look very ncie and give great experinxe as you can add new photos in the gallery by wix app itself.

If you don't know to code and want to make good user-friendly websites, you should consider using Wix because it gives a vast range of templates and is very easy to use. Use the wix app for better experience. Prefer starting with a blank page rather than a wix template.
