Good starting platform for beginners, but limited capacity as website needs grow
What do you like best about the product?
Getting a website up was easy and straightforward. The drag and drop functions were helpful, and transitioned well with my experience in Microsoft Office applications. I found it to be very streamlined and uncomplicated to get things up and running, and it was a great service to get a website up for my freelance medical writing business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt that there was less support and less overall recommendations suggesting Wix as a good platform for SEO, and for growing my customer base. I also thought the plans were expensive after the introductory year of a lower price and free domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to use Wix to create a website that houses my online portfolio and communicates the value I can provide to clients. I realized benefits of having a professional website that allowed me to improve marketing of my services.

Build high quality websites without the need of advanced programming knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
One of the main strengths of the application is its super friendly and easy to use graphical interface, as well as having several very useful features that allow the user to create endless elements within their website and thus give free rein to the imagination. Due to its great flexibility in its functionalities allows users who do not have a strong background in programming can use the application without a big steep, one of those functions is to drag and drop objects into the templates without the need to program from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions granted on a project are not as granular as they might be, it would be nice to have a permit which only allows the editing of the website in certain sections within it this would add protection to parts of the page that you would not want to be damaged or spoil for no reason. Prices for more advanced plans increase considerably from each other so it's often difficult to choose the one that best suits your requirements. That said, I don't have other complaint of this great app.

For an entrepreneur like me who likes to do everything on his own, having a tool like Wix in my portfolio of applications is a primary importance since it represent my digital exposure to potential customers, this forces me to have a content of high quality content on my page which generates high levels of engagement on any user who enters the website. Due to its smooth learning curve and my basic level of programming I was able to use all its functions without any problem that its documentation did not solve.

For users with a small company like me that doesn't have a bulk budget they can't afford to hire an web designer expert, Wix is the right choice because it allows people who don't have strong knowledge in programming and website design being able to use the app without any problem plus it offers features that make editing even easier with features like drap and drop elements within the page, a really long list of customization options which will make you worry only on using your imagination because Wix will take care of the programming part.

Amongst the things I don't like about Wix is their customer service I say this because sometimes I need to make some inquiries and the truth has left a lot to be desired first they take a long time to answer and then they don't finish clarifying my doubts, in some cases even leaving me with more questions than answers, this is why I have had to look for help through other means such as forums or video tutorials so I would say that this is the aspect that frustrates me about Wix.

Wix has definitely been a great help as I can create and edit the websites quickly and easily and in addition I can modify them whenever I want. This gives me more control over the creative process which of course also saves me a lot of time, effort and money, and means I can do more work for more clients.
