WIX website creator
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly to create a nice looking website. Lots of options for extra services, i.e. SEO assistance etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not run across much I don't like. SEO is difficult for me, but I've started working with one of their partners which helps significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've realized the importance of having solid SEO working for your website and have taken advantage of one of WIX's partners to help me with this.

How to perform more advanced tasks you must switch from the basic wix editor to another editor, and then you aren’t able to revert to the basic

Wix is an extremely easy to use software that has helped me grow my business through the use of the internet
An ok service for entry level web design
What do you like best about the product?
This company is really great at giving you an introduction to what can be achieved when you decide to create your own website. Their range of templates and designs probably surpass all the other services that perform this kind of tool to customers. Their Algorithms quickly and sleekly design you a website based off just a few preference choices. I also have to mention their app which is one of the most powerful I have ever seen - the amount of work you can do straight off the app is amazing and almost exceeds what can be done on a desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
About halfway through my first year with Wix as a premium subscriber, they removed a lot of features that were the reason I signed on (like visitor analytics for audio streaming). I reached out to them and got a very robotic response and poor customer service saying that they were going to replace the analytics with a much more all-encompassing product - which never arrived. The fact that you have to pay for every addition to the site (like a search bar or visitor traffic information) is a real scam and quickly makes your monthly cost go through the roof.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running my website through Wix has allowed me to bypass sellar fees on other marketplaces and allows me to easily maintain my show on the fly using the app. Something that was supremely difficult in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Wix only if you don't have the knowledge to do it all yourself as it is the perfect tool for beginners to create something amazing.

Email stats, what works better than other emails sent. Online booking is super helpful for our business.

It’s very user friendly but still has tons of customization options.

It’s slightly pricy, and there are some features like the built in calendar that aren’t good.

Wix is very easy and convenient to use since you do not need to have knowledge in web programming to be able to build a web page from scratch its user interface very comfortable and easy to understand even for all users who are newbies in this type of web services They can use it without any problem. It has a wide variety of templates with which you can work with virtually any theme

In spite of the great variety of the templates that they have, you need a paid subscription to be able to access all these options since the free version is a bit limited and it would be of great help that they will expand those possibilities a bit so that users can experiment in a better way and decide if they are going to make a subscription or not

Wix has been a very fast solution for our company since it has helped us save a lot of time by increasing the delivery times of each project that we carry out. We have also managed to satisfy each client without any problem wix is an easy tool to implement and use.

Due to its great capacity to create web pages with an incredible simplicity that also has a very accessible price ideal for all types of companies but above all it adapts very well to those who wish to work in the design area since it offers great possibilities to do practically what wishing for that and many more things I recommend wix to everyone.

It's easy to get a basic website up and working.

Help advisors use a flow chat and don't have actual knowlede to solve you issue. They can't answer direct questions.

Good for doing a basic website, but for more advanced things it can be limiting. Many in site apps can be overpriced and the basic ones are basic. Not very good for sellings items and connecting to your bank. Booking apps are limited and very american in there setup, so some nit suitable for the UK

Easy to use. Wix is very easy and fast to use, in a few hours you can have your web mounted. Only very basic computer skills are required to create a website. It also offers a Free option. You should not pay for the name of the website (domain) or storage (hosting). It has a variety of templates where, apart from having little computer skills, it has little design experience, Wix offers a wide variety of templates to have a tasteful page. I also like that it has a wide variety of apps Although many of them are only available in the Premium version you can find certain very useful apps for your business such as social media buttons, galleries, podcasts, book with a calendar

If you are born in Wix you die in Wix. That is what they want to make you believe. Although it is possible to migrate from Wix to other platforms such as WordPress.org it is very complex and delicate. For now it can be done with the help of a plugin called CMS2CMS: Automated Wix to WordPress. There is nothing in the world that is totally free. To pay for your hosting and domain, Wix places advertising on your page. Which detracts professionalism from your business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many years ago I wanted to create a free page on Wix because all my friends had one that looked very cool and mine mounted on Wordpress.org was really ugly. So I got down to work and set up a website on Wix that seemed divine to me, even though my graphic design studies didn't include anything about web design. At that time I designed a page on Wix because of its aesthetics and because I didn't know anything about web design. However, after it occurred to me to look for it on Google to see how it looked in the search engine, what was my surprise that no matter how much I tried to find it, I did not find it, of course, my little aesthetic page in WordPress.org of that time did appear in Google results. Therefore, I have wix as an option when I want to have a web page for a client that has few resources. I also teach my students this tool in the beginning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix seems like a great tool for people who are experimenting with getting started in the web world. As well as for those who barely undertake and do not have much money.
Not easy to use at all - definitely not for beginners

It is affordable and there are some benefits that could be really good for starting businesses, such as the Google Ads voucher for all new sign ups
What do you dislike about the product?
The builder is so complicated and difficult to use. It is targetted as an application that is just like SquareSpace, but it is 1000x more complicated that SquareSpace
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous website that our website was built on was sluggish and complicated. Wix is at least a faster website builder. It is also a good platform for web development and building sites for clients because handing over is simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
unless youre willing to spend a long time developing a small site, maybe look elsewhere. If you have a working knowledge of HTML/CSS then this may be good, but as a modular builder this isn't the right product to use.
