Wix: The Way to Go
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity and ease of use, while still being 100% customizable. I love that there are options for free use as well as packages. I run a small side business, and when I first began, and even now, I don't have a lot of money to put towards extra things. But a website is a necessity these days, and so having a free option to create what I needed to get myself out there has been huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't had any bad experiences, other than what is brought upon myself by my lack of tech savvy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
These days, any business needs a website, no matter what they're areas of expertise. I needed a professional platform to showcase my work and make it easy for customers to contact me, and wix has provided that.

Keep it simple until you get to know the program more.

What do you like best about the product?
I build websites. So, when building a site, I tend to code or to go for Wordpress platforms. However, as much as I encourage business owners to get a professional to help them brand and build their online homes, it just isn't feasible for some. Especially on an ongoing basis, money wise. So I refer them to Wix. Wix is the best option for business owners who want to do it themselves. It's a one stop shop to purchase hosting and domain and makes the process of getting started easy and cost efficient. It's also a simple drag and drop platform that makes learning how to build your site simpler than code ever would be. So making updates as the business grows and shifts is easier and more affordable to do than ever!
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate the limited amount of templates. Because some business owners ARE doing it for themselves, they don't have the experience and foresight of a designer or developer who knows how to take what the business needs from a site and convert it into a functional, user friendly, customer conversion machine, they choose a template based on fads, trends and gimmicky features. And it looks like everyone else's website who chose the same template. I dislike that once you create a desktop site it doesn't automatically convert to a mobile responsive site. It's easy enough to update, but if you forget, your site will end up looking crazy. Also, once you choose a template, you pretty much are stuck with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are ease of use for business owners with a limited budget. So this solves the problem of a website presence being more fiscally accessible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to assess what you need in a website before taking on the task of building or even looking for a template. A simple task like taking the time to jot a list of your needs will help you save time and frustration and possibly keep your site from looking cookie cutter. It will help you gain a better ROI on your investment so your website isn't just "sitting pretty".

What do you like best about the product?
Wix has some nice templates and is very easy to use.

Wix looks a bit unprofessional. Also when you’re setting up your website the site takes very long to load and often crashes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I made my first website with Wix. It was perfect to make my first site on this website.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that they either let you choose an automatic website inputting minimal information or a fully custom site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything, they have everything i'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've had issues with older customers not having facebook, so having a simple website makes it easier. People usually come to us based on our website.
My Wix Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively speaking, WIX is easier to maneuver than other web site builders. And they made it easy for us to transfer our site from our previous provider. I like that they offer several add ons, many of which are free for premium customers. I also like that I can maintain a free backup of my sites and that updates made appear instantly after publication. They also offer a good variety of templates and easy ways to link up with social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problems that I have had is that when the blog was updated, it did not seem to link up with or convert my old blogs. Granted I'm not that high tech and may have missed something, but I now show two blog sections on my site and would like to know how to combine them. I am sure there must be a relatively simple way. I wish they would let me know what it is though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to more effectively spread information about our company and products through the social links on the website as well as develop more creative marketing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's hard to say, as I am no expert. But if you are like me (not an expert) then WIX is relatively easy to build a site and navigate for basic updates, etc.

The themes that the website has at the very beginning are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the most user friendly. Other platforms like SquareSpace and Weebly are better.

Again, not user friendly. The tools are hard to get to and the components are hard to maneuver.

Wix is a wonder, I like it a lot, thanks to the amount of features that Wix offers its friendly platform is certainly very versatile and incredible. Previously I used other applications based on the design before knowing Wix and when I came to see it because my curiosity called me, I quickly fell in love with its platform for its simplicity and at the same time so complete and full of designs, allowing me to put all kinds of personalization on my websites.
I also like very much its applicants bank that allows me to add to all my websites because they allow me to track all the behavior of the pages in real time in order to perform their respective analysis on each page and be able to know their weaknesses and make corrections on time. It would be selfish of me to speak of its incredible templates that can provide you with a great help when creating unique features of your websites and are impressive, for example how to put a page of frequently asked questions that is very useful and easy to use.
The great thing is that, with all the tools and useful features that Wix has, it is very economical, which is not the case with other applications.

At the moment Wix is not giving me a serious problem that I have not been able to solve, however, I can note that your technical support team is very quick when it comes to solving problems. In truth, I congratulate you for it and do not lower the quality they have.

I can say that at the time my business did not have a presence on the web and thanks to Wix I have a beautiful website that represents the quality of my business. Without much experience this system provided me with a quick and simple and very economical solution. Your payment plans have been very useful for my company, that is why I take an economic plan.
I have no hesitation in telling you that Wix is a great platform that is very interactive. I assure you that you will have fun working with this application creating beautiful designs on web pages.

If you are in need of a website and do not have the experience of how to do it, seriously, I recommend using Wix, this program is incredibly good, easy to use and versatile because here you can create your web page quickly and in a matter of hours, you will only have to choose which template to choose, and start adding the text, and all the colorful accessories such as video, photos, a little color and you will have your page ready.

Best platform for amateur web creation!
What do you like best about the product?
I love wix for the flexibility, creativity, and learning opportunities it offers. Using Wix, my team and I have had a chance to not only create aesthetically pleasing pages that convey our messages clearly but also learn about web design and programming through this fun and effective platform. I appreciate that you can alter almost every aspect of a site to match and emphasize products, missions, or services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything about Wix. One complaint I have discovered through customer outreach is that elderly clients do not fully appreciate the ease of using the site to learn about my company's services. The modern look of the pages you can make, regardless of the reality that they are clear and succinct, does not translate to the minds of lots of elderly clients. This is no fault of Wix itself. I will elaborate on how we solved this issue using Wix in the next box.

I mentioned the relationship between elderly clients and wix in the above box. However, using Wix, we have solved this issues. Wix allows us to make a tab for ordering paper information such as pamphlets on the website. Elderly clients say they appreciate this resource. Also, we have solved the issue of paying lots of money to developers by learning from Wix.

Definitely explore what it has to offer especially compared to weebly.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is great for building your website exactly the way you want it. You have lot of freedom to put things where you want. I wish shopify was like Wix
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very confusing at first because there are so many options it took me a second to learn my way around but once I did it was awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has given me an amazing website to show my clients and friends. The blog is clean and easily editable. And the ability to have direct bookings is fantastic. The mobile app lets me know when someone is on the site and I can easily start a chat with them if they want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would definitely choose Wix if you're really good at design, it's not for a novice who wants a basic website in my opinion or hire a graphic designer to help you because you make your site really awesome or really bad because of the amount of customization available to you.

Wix gave me an opportunity to build my own site from scratch with custom settings so I can design it.

The navigation around the site was a little confusing at times but not impossible.

Wix makes possible for direct contact between me and an client, instead of clients going through several channels to reach me.
