Great tool for those inexperienced and experienced alike
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to having the option of Wix doing most of the work for me if I'm working on a quick project and having the ability to update the graphics, videos, and colors to fit the brand or being able to build a website from scratch. The tools are extremely easy to use and I'm able to customize just about anything on the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have Wix do most of the work for you, you don't have the ease of making changes other than the suggested changes they come up with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Wix, I'm able to create websites for clients to get their products and services out there, and I'm able to quickly create sites for family and friends who have side businesses or startups.
Basic but functional
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is a useful tool for people looking to build a blog or website without much experience of web design. It provides a range of designs, all of which are contemporary and are customisable to suit your colour scheme and desired aesthetic. Wix allows for reasonably efficient website building; using its wizard, you can easily design a simple website and be online within two hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features of Wix are quite clumsy. For example, using your own photographs or graphics as page backgrounds can be a little difficult, as images are often stretched out of their aspect ratio or clumsily tiled. Embedding Flash, videos, etc. can also be quite difficult, and rather glitchy when it comes to posting the page online. Wix also does not provide you the option of email alerts when people comment on your page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone with very limited experience of web design, I have found Wix a useful tool to set up a basic and visually appealing website. Wix does not require you to be able to use any HTML coding at all, and the interface does allow you to fully preview what your website will look like before you post it online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to build a blog or a webpage, use the free trials for several different providers, such as Wix, Wordpress and Weebly. This will give you a good idea of what features will be most helpful to you and what works best for you. Wix is particularly good if you are looking for a graphic-led, contemporary webpage that does not require you to have extensive knowledge of design and programming.
Perfect website solution for new businesses
What do you like best about the product?
The big upside of Wix is the ability to create a website with no technical knowledge. The use of templates saves a lot of the costs of custom development. The end results are also fantastic and professional-looking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templates do it cater to all needs. If you have more complex needs such as deeper automation of an online shop you will need custom backend development.

A good platform for making the website you want
What do you like best about the product?
The website itself is really good and beautiful, The hosting of wix is great because the website is very fast to load. The drag and drop feature is really great, allows beginners to intuitivley create a website of their own without the need for any professionals help. Wix customer support is great really answers your questions or troubleshoots any problems with your site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix is great its easy to use and has all the features and funcunality i have no dislikes whatsoever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Wix, I can create websites with full-on functions and features without the need to do strenuous works of developing and coding my own website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Wix for anyone who likes to have a website without coding it yourself.
Not bad but needs work
What do you like best about the product?
Every new website maker needs work, when I did use this site for my website, it did not give a vibe that it would work for me and it had too many dislikes for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It used to advertise that it was free always but, the sites that were beneficial to me were always a pay option to it. I just feel like if something is free, it should not be attached with any hidden fees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easiest Web Design Platform
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely intuitive, as well as being very clean from a UI perspective. It gives confidence to people that are beginning to use the product, or getting accustomed to the design game altogether.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a lot of features that I am sure they are working to roll out, but it seems to take a long time to get to that end game.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to turn around a website in a short window. Because it's easy to use, it makes that problem very solvable.
Self made website
What do you like best about the product?
It’s super easy to drag and drop things for when your building your site. I love the ads on that you and the fact that the integration of other apps is easy makes it that much better. There is a space for Your very basic website needs and needs for more detailed aspects for example accepting payments or even having people ask you question on your site. Oh and it even gives templates that make it that much easier that a child could build a website using wix.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the templates you might not find exactly what your looking for and then you’d have to use a different template and that just makes more work for yourself in order to tailor it to your liking. I also don’t like the free version because it has the big wix logo on your site and that’s not cute. Also using wix on your phone to build a site is not very good just because it’s smaller and takes a little bit more moving around to get things the way you want it to look plus it might look different on the computer than the phone but you do have the option of seeing a preview of what it will look like on all 3 tech devices (phone, tablet, and computer).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My lazy self is what I’m solving. For the cheap and lazy wix is great because you can build your own website for cheap and it’s easy right from the begining.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s easy follow the instructions so that at least you get a foundation and fool proof website. They do it all for you once you sign up just follow what they ask and in a few min. A site is built.
Hard to use when you're first starting out
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of it WIX is a great site to use to build your website. It has a lot a great features including adding buttons and interactive boxes. The features help you create a professional website even if you have no website building experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very difficult to learn. I would say it took me a few months to really get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use WIX to create and manage our website for our non-profit museum.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using WIX to create your website, just make sure you have time to learn how it works. I do really enjoy the feature that allows you to edit both in a desktop version and mobile version so you know your website will look good no matter what medium your guests are using.
Perfect for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you don't need coding experience or knowledge to create a beautiful website. I've used this program to create several websites very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations when it comes to customizing how things work/look in the program. I think that's just a given when you are using a premade template type website creator versus coding everything from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The website created through Wix has brought in so much business for our bakery, increased visibility online for tourists, and showcases our products well.
User friendly and well priced service.

I love how easy it is to create a site with Wix and that their prices are reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you need to pay a monthly fee for the entire time that your website is running.

Projects/presentations as well as marketing and business. I have benefited from being able to quickly create professional websites.
