So easy and organized!
What do you like best about the product?
It makes booking clients easy on both sides. It’s simple for customers to use, and makes it easy on my end to schedule clients, make sure I don’t overbook, and keep my schedule organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
My business has many layers to it, so it can be difficult to customize the booking options for my services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes out the time between the client reaching out to me and waiting for my reply. They can book me when it’s convenient for them and not have to wait for us to both have a free minute to chat first.
Bookings has some drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the Bookings feature allows the calendar portion of the business to be integrated directly into the Wix website.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it has some visual drawbacks, can be difficult to manage the calendar booking slots, and doesn't always provide total clarity for a customer trying to book a workshop or a session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix bookings allowed me to operate my business all from Wix rather than separate websites for calendar (i.e. Calendly, Square Up, etc.). However, I've cancelled my Wix Bookings account because it wasn't as easy to use as these other free sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest you try out other platforms (Calendly, Square Up) before committing to Wix Bookings to ensure you are using the software that is most user friendly for you.
Not so easy
What do you like best about the product?
In SEO, it is a very good tool due to the ability to include meta tags and similar elements, as well as the back-end text.
What do you dislike about the product?
The necessary time and complexity of the properties of each element, although the complexity it offers is good, it might be too complex to go element by element modifying it because the templates, although appropriate, are too modifiable and do not adhere to real standards for preconfiguration or predefined configuration.
The loading time is terrible for a website that wants to engage its audience, it takes a long time to load, more than 5 seconds, and that's with fiber optic internet with more than enough megabytes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I conduct 'white hat' and 'black hat' tests as they are only to test SEO, I am not in danger of having the official website banned in search engines, this way I measure the results I obtain on the Wix site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix seems to be a simple platform for creating online pages, but nevertheless, it is not as easy as it may seem at first glance. You don't need computer knowledge, but after self-creating with a template and the options you choose, you have to change a lot on the website by adjusting many options and properties of the elements to make it really how you might want it. In other words, despite appearing simple, Wix is not, or you end up needing to spend much more time than necessary or than you might think is necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
They have a wide variety of free or reasonably priced templates, with lots of customization. The site is easy to use without any HTML knowledge required, and you can alter the designs rather easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very slow to load the editor and the free version is somewhat restricted, the main issue for me has been the domain, it's a bit hard to link and cumbersome unless you pay for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're hosting a blog on it, to have more customization than on our main website. It allows more suer friendly blogging, and a more easily altered platform.
WIX for Dummies
What do you like best about the product?
The WIX platform is easy to use and manage. Creating an e-commerce webpage was user friendly and idiot proof. Drag and drop, easy set up, easy management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had troubles getting the credit card processing system up on our website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I opened an online art gallery and needed an avenue to show the work and sell the work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I used this product a year ago. I could not get our credit card processing system up and running. I used the platform also for opening a site for a dentist office that has since closed. Since there were not purchases on that site, it was a more smooth process.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is so easy to make beautiful looking website. It is by far my favourite to use out of all other website platforms. The drag and drop tools and strip templates make putting together a nice looking website easy. You can even go further with developer tools to create more but even without those skills, you make everything from professional to artsy to farm related designs. There are also a lot of great apps like Wix Chat ,Wix Store etc., to help meet your specific needs.

I wish there were a few things I could do without upgrading or paying more, sometimes there are things you don't realize you need to pay more for to utilize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has helped me make beautiful looking sites easily and without as much frustration as other platforms have caused. It makes design go by faster and the results way nicer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix can be super easy to use and design. If you don't have an eye for design and hire someone to build the site for you, it is then so easy to keep up and manage the site.

The potential it has in SEO both due to its features and the advertising Wix places on numerous sites, allows the website to be well positioned, both for free and paid, it serves very well for those who are learning about white hat SEO and want to add meta tags to the objects on their website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix is not a very good service in terms of hosting, it is hosted on some type of code, like Java, which takes a long time, besides that, it also takes a long time to load the web page itself, something that is not acceptable in a professional service, that's why I use it only for SEO testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the great opportunity that its system of objects and meta tags offers for SEO, it is normal to take advantage of the service to conduct SEO tests, both white hat and black hat, as it is an unofficial website and the search engine scrappers will not penalize us.

Regarding SEO, it is perhaps the best page builder, as it allows you to add metadata to almost everything, meta tags to objects, etc.
It is undoubtedly not the best tool for having a good design, but for testing, that is, as a testing ground, it is indeed useful, just as other alternatives are.

Awesome design service
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of features that Wix provides through their platform is amazing. I was using other design platforms before Wix and I am in love with their design platform as well as the amount of customization I can put into my website. I also like the apps you can add to the website which allow for analytics tracking and event management. They also provide great templates to use to help create awesome website features such as an easy to use FAQ page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more of the additional features were included in the paid plan without having to pay extra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide ease of access to designing the website as well as awesome SEO instruction and advice.

I Love Wix!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been creating websites with Wix for the last 5 years or so. It has such a user-friendly interface! I use to code thing by hand and it took FOREVER but I can drag and drop element exactly where I want them, no sweat.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you use Wix for selling merchandise, there are a few standard features that Wix is lacking at the moment. BUT, they have listened and added many of the features requested by users. So if there is something you need to happen you can log into your account and up-vote that feature to be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love having all of the boosters and advise on advertising and SEO optimization. They even have a video creator section with stock promotional videos you can customize to share on social media. This is something I have been wanting to do but I'm not video savvy.

I would recommend this software to anyone who does not have coding experience or want a user-friendly platform to host their website.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix immediately sets the foundation for your website when you sign in. There are many sharp website templates to choose from with flexible editing capabilities. The interface and tools are straightforward and we don't need to have any coding knowledge to make changes. The websites we worked on were all optimized for mobile devices so that our website looks properly on phones and tablets. There are many great extension apps that let us add more features, like appointment bookings and purchase buttons, to our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system seems targeted towards novice web designers with little to no coding experience, so customizing your website with advanced code can be difficult. When I tried to add some JavaScript and CSS files, the resulting pages often did not appear or function as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Wix to create different websites for marketing, feedback forms, event sign up forms and other business purposes. It has been a smooth way for me to create and upload pages quickly. I've created simple one-page websites to serve as landing pages for email promotions or notices that I've sent out. The Wix booking app has given me a way to book appointments online without having to take time to manually process appointment and contact information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix is one of the leading website building tools, so I think it's worth taking a look at it for your basic web needs. If you're a more advanced web developer, this platform can possibly cause your more frustration than creating a website from your own server.
