Great for Basic Websites
What do you like best about the product?
Wix's widgets make it very easy to build a basic website. It's very easy to select different elements and move them where needed. They're also very customizable, so even though Wix is largely template-based, it's very easy to make it look like you coded it yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some widgets must be paid for in order to use their maximum potential. Also, there are sometimes bugs with the site where something will not save properly and you'll need to reload the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to create an entire customizable website using Wix without having to hire a webmaster or coder. Although it had a learning curve, it saved an immense amount of money.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the easy and effluent way that Wix enabled me to build a portfolio of my new found skill set in UX design. It allowed me to seamlessly add my information and products quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I didn’t like about Wix was the learning curve that I had to teach myself. But was able to overcome this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems Wix is helping me solve is being able to create my UX portfolio fast, allowing me to acquire users fast.
Wix - The Perfect Platform for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user-friendly platform they've created. Wix has really enhanced their platform and made it easier to use, and they've updated the aspects to adapt to modern design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix tends to be a bit glitchy and slow loading. It could be partially my laptop, but most places I've used it I have problems with it glitching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a graphic designer and I like the simple usability to quickly design websites that look great! It makes my life a lot easier with the simplicity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use, the best way to learn how to do it is just to use it!

What do you like best about the product?
Wix has such a user friendly product when it comes to designing a website for personal or business use. They are who I recommend to everybody and suggest my students to use as they enter the professional world. Wix makes it so easy to design a one of a kind site and connect a domain to it, and takes far less time to figure out as opposed to other design sites such as wordpress or squarespace. Much cheaper too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike at all. I have multiple sites designed on Wix. Their customer service is usually quite prompt, so if you are someone who is at least a little computer savvy, you'll be fine. And if you're need the extra help, they offer it for a small fee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me such an easy way to keep my personal website updated as well as offering other templates for personal business uses.

Great For Specific Purposes
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is one of those platforms that is fantastic for the right type of people. It is without a doubt the best looking and easiest to use platform in its market, to the point where others like Wordpress are barely comparable. The free plans, ease of use, and support have always been wonderful to work with and easy to implement in small businesses. It's one of those things you can pick up and begin working on immediately--no need to sit down with a giant instructional first.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix is great, but can easily be overloaded with photos, videos, and the like. The builder (while effective) can be incredibly slow at times. Lord forbid you build the site from scratch as opposed to one of their templates. It can be the issue of clicking and dragging something and having the site lag a second or two behind. I've also had some technical issues in items disappearing or getting stuck behind other boxes. Again, I don't prefer to use the templates so this happens quite often for me, requiring assistance from support. Additionally, the builder is very easy to use but hooking up the site to a domain is no where near as easy as the rest of it. Additional instruction would be great in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is absolutely perfect for any small business looking to get online as quickly and as cheaply as possible, while also looking decent. It's a major upgrade from any Facebook page or social media online presence that's trying to replace an actual website. Also, the option to add code has helped when the builder has fallen short, such as needing to add complicated lists or tables.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! This is one of the few products I absolutely recommend premium for, and is well worth the investment.
Easy-to-use with simple templates
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to get up and running with Wix. Their selection of templates is great. The designs are easy to manipulate and scrap if need-be. I also like that Wix is a one-stop shoptgat constantly offers discounts. You can get your domain name, hosting, template, shopping cart, etc. all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates - even with the paid version - are a little elementary. I’d like to see more professional and sophisticated templates, especially for individuals and portfolios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our organization, we solved a lack of accessibility for stakeholders. We needed to build a site practically overnight and we were able to with Wix. Now, when we need to make updates, attach an important memo, or something like that, we can. We’re solving a number of issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You should definitely go for the paid version if you need a broad selection of site templates. But take time to go through the tutorials.
Wix marketing review
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is easy to use for the beginner, or a new business owner. It’s preset styles, pictures, fonts, etc make it easy to set up a business acount to sell your product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not happy with the phone app that goes along with Wix. Not all features are available on the app as on a laptop or desktop making marketing or billing on the go impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy billing to customers with different payment options for services. Services are easy to sign up for with Wix.
SAvy website for your business
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Wix helps you custom make your professional website. It is clean and simple to create your business. There are lots of tabs and colorful designs that fit the essence of my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't care for the customer service. I also didn't like all the designs and wish there were more. I also didn't love the price for my website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to create a website to meet my needs for my business. It was simple and practical for what I needed to run and advertise my business.
Wix is an excellent CMS, with an excellent present and future.
What do you like best about the product?
This web design tool is an excellent and intuitive developer, its free plan allows users to create and host professional websites without cost, and offers more than 500 templates with high quality designs for different areas, being so simple that a few clicks turn an idea into a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Disadvantages? You do not own your own website, as it is a rental service. In some free versions, some advertising banners appear, most of the APP Market allow you to buy add-ons to improve the websites, being the majority free, but with limitations. Another disadvantage is the deficiencies that they present in URLs, due to hashbangs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has allowed the development in minutes, hours or days of projects that with other tools would be a matter of months. It is very easy to use, even at the web level.

Highly recommended for applications with few development limitations in their style.
Very easy to use and I love the templates
What do you like best about the product?
I created an amazing website with Wix , I love the ability to use the premade templates and the fact that I can see a preview of my work before publishing . It was very easy to upload photos, make changes, link my domain and social sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price and the editing functions. The cheapest plan is 20 / month. I think it's a bit on the high side. It also is not very easy to add texts and make changes,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making a website and being able to process payments. This was my first site I ever built.

Great for someone who is creating their website.
