Good Solution for Start Ups, Bad for Seo
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great option for a startup with no technical experience or budget to hire a professional develop to build a website. It was easy to use and made a pretty website on the front end. However, it is horrible for SEO.
What do you dislike about the product?
SEO. They are working on it, but our site never ranked, despite implementing all of their SEO sugggestions and using the tools they provide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a website quickly and they came through.
Beware of their poor customer support and impossible to cancel and expensive subscription charges
What do you like best about the product?
I don't like anything best about this product - but they should probably be comended for their ability to refuse every refund request they have ever received (check out trust pilot reviews before purchasing this).
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a very negative experience with Wix previously. They charged me an annual subscription for a site I no longer use.
I tried to remove my billing details from their site a while ago but was unable to do so. (Their site is not user friendly). o in order to avoid being charged again I cancelled my previous card so they would not be able to take another payment. However, although I changed my card details to avoid being charged again, there was a small section in their T&Cs which stated that even if you changed your card details they can still take a recurring payment. When I emailed them to explain there had been a mistake and (as they could obviously see I don't even use the site and haven't for almost a year) did not mean to sign up for another year they refused to give me a refund.
I understand that sometimes these things happen, but sites like Amazon can be pretty reasonable and offer refunds for these mistakes. To think that Wix obviously relies on sneakily taking subscriptions and refusing to refund them even though it's obvious the user isn't using the account, is quite telling of their ethos as a business. Also, the Customer Service experience was dreadful. I would not recommend this site to anyone as there are plenty of blogging sites out there who are more focused on your experience as a customer of theirs and less on wrongfully taking your money.

Best website development program
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried several different websites platforms andD wix by far is the best. It's easy to use and has tons of beautiful designs. BEST part is all the integrations like live chat and bookings

I don't like that they don't have an affordable monthly payment plan like many of their competitor's

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you don't have to know coding/HTML/Javascript/etc to be able to design a beautiful website. Wix is super easy to use and they have many free apps and features that can added to your website.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to reach customer support. You have to click several prompts and look at the bottom of the page to schedule a call from their support team-- they really don't make it easy to find!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've had several clients who wanted a website created for them, still offer the ability for them to be able to easily make updates themselves in the future. Wix is a great solution for this need because it is so easy to use.

Wix is great, even if you don't know much about building websites. They have a lot of supplemental articles to help you out.
EASY AND SUFFICIENT FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use and completely customizable as a user, anything is possible with the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only dislike is that it is so simple that I feel as if I am not getting the designer effects of it.

Quick, cheap and easy interactions with buyers.
Easy to Use Even with No Tech Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not the best with technology, and when it came time for me to make a website for my small business, I wasn't sure if I would be able to do it myself. I found Wix and thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. Wix was so easy to use and had 100's of layouts for inspiration to get me started. I was able to customize everything easily and put my whole website together in a few days.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing can be difficult. I wish adding text was easier as well as adding boxes or pictures too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provided my business with a website for a very low cost. It helped me connect my domain with ease, and I can edit my website anytime I want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very easy and affordable compared to other similar options. There is a learning curve to setting it all up, but it really doesn't take long to get the hang of the software. It's pretty incredible that they were able to make designing a website to easy, so it's hard to complain about the little things that could make it better. I still can't believe I was able to design my own website and others who view my website can't believe I made it myself either.
I would recommend Wix to everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I love Wix's drag and drop feature. It was my first platform and I don't think I would be where I am today if I hadn't used Wix first. It's incredibly easy to use, intuitive, and unlike many other platforms that offer just a template, you can customize and design your site to look exactly how you want it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about Wix. It really boosted me into learning about business and becoming familiar with creating a website. It doesn't have as many apps or plug-ins, but unless you're a company that has very in-depth processes, it meets any need you may have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Wix to showcase my portfolio when I am looking for new clients. I have had clients look at the website and compliment me on it. One in particular said it was "excellent."

Right now my revenue is low so I went with the free Wix templates that features a lot of advertising on it. In the future I hope to upgrade to one that does not include advertising.

It's a great way to show potential clients that you are serious about what you do and that it's not just a hobby. It allows them to explore your capabilities on their own time. I love that it's mobile friendly too.

Explore all of the templates if you're less experienced w/technology.
ONLY for beginners and very small companies
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Wix is easy to use. With zero technical skill, I was able to build my first website in a few hours. There are a lot of free photos to incorporate into the site, and WIX recently improved their SEO abilities, so my site can be found.
What do you dislike about the product?
WIX is the least scalable of all the web services I've worked with. It is very difficult to connect the WIX platform to an email service like MailChimp, AWeber, Convert Kit, or Constant Contact. It also doesn't allow you to add plugins unless they come from the WIX platform. This really limits your ability to grow and customize your site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use WIX for my primary business website. I use it mostly as an additional proof of my skills for my customers. I don't use it for outbound marketing since it's so difficult to manipulate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend checking that WIX will integrate with any other software you want to use before you get started. You don't want to waste your time creating something you wont be able to use.
Amazing platform for website
What do you like best about the product?
If have 3 small businesses and have used wix to create websites for each. I love how incredibly easy it is use. I can honestly set up an website in 10min. I love all the integrations like the ability to pay online and book appointments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version it's not that impressive. It's pretty simple and has a lot of ads. I wish they would include more in there free versions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an online presence is everything nowadays. This has given us the ability to market our businesses online with minimal cost. I don't have to hire a marketing firm or design company to make our websites
