What do you like best about the product?
Wix is definitely something I'd use if you're just getting started. It lets you move around and figure out what style you want, without knowing any coding.
They do have an app, so it's easy to track orders from your phone.
They do a lot of deals, so most times you can get a website subscription half off, as well as a free domain for a year.
It's really simple to start, so I'd recommend doing this before a more expensive platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the seller platform gave you more analytics. It would be great to sort revenue and see traffic on your site.
Also, it would be really great if they could connect to other places like Amazon.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I pay extra to run e-mail campaigns. They automatically collect e-mails after every purchase. They have cool templates that you can use to send out coupons and get more customers.
Easiest website I've used to make my own website
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to create visually compelling content with Wix. Other programs were just too difficult or required too much time learning how to use them. This one is so intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way the ads look if you opt for a free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped me to grow my own personal brand and portfolio.

Definitely give it a shot, and be creative! Templates they offer help as well if you're stuck.

Look around to see if other sites might fit your needs better (eg BigCommerce or Shopify)

Is easy to use and has a lot of great tools that help you make your website look fantastic! The site analytics are good - it is helpful to know when a potential customer is even located in the area you service

While I currently use the paid version, the free version has a odd @wixwebsite address

Not enough internet exposure - now I'm finding more customers locating my business online.

Buy the paid version - the free version truly does look tacky

What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates and the apps available to make setting up a a website fast and easy. I really enjoy the marketing apps!

Some integrations are not available, but there are other similar compatible tools that can be easily integrated into our site.

Wix has allowed me to easily create and edit my website so I can spend time on other important pieces of my business.

Integration with HTML, one or the other not able to do a mix of WYSIWYG and hard code.

Quick and Easy Web Design
What do you like best about the product?
It does not take a degree in design to build a site that looks like you 'knew' what you were doing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some area's if you are not tech savvy do challenge your ability to navigate easily. That said if you do not try to push your design limits you will still get a good result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WEB traffic 0 recognition for a start-up. SEO optimization is EXTREMELY important!
User Friendly...to an extent
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of nudging items around the page, template options and the ability to manage multiple under one login.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to add custom HTML and have it look halfway decent is annoying. Also, the ability to optimize a page is strangely difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've created a couple of eCommerce sites, one for a non-profit and another for a festival. It suites all needs and has aided in getting their brands out there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
All elements you need are there, it's just about getting used to where they're placed and having to pay extra for the ones you think you need. The eccomerce side is challenging at times. Do lots of tests to make sure quantities occur properly.
Great for new Websites
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is very easy to use and easy to make the layouts exactly how you want it to look. I loved that even when viewing on mobile devices (which many of our customers do) the website still looked the same and wasn't altered like many other sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cheapest ad free plan is 11$ per month. There is a free version but I felt personally the other versions were significantly better. I noticed that there were many other websites I could have used for a fraction of the price. This was a main reason I stopped using Wix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted a sleek look for my website and thats what wix gave me. I found that after I remodeled my website using wix, I had more customer engagement.

I like how easy it is to use for people who don’t have experience building websites

It is a little pricey to upload the website online and that can be frustrating for those trying to start their own business.

I have created an amazing website for my startup that has wonderful pictures and easily accessable pages for my viewers.

I think it would be a good idea for others to use wix when they don't know what to do. It is really simple and efficient with great design featres
