Wix Wasn't For Me
What do you like best about the product?
I personally didn't like Wix. I used to have wix when I was attempting to switch from Html/Java to an easier content management system. I do not recommend wix.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally didn't like Wix. I used to have wix when I was attempting to switch from Html/Java to an easier content management system. However, having past computer programming, I didnt like how they limited you, or want you to pay for extras such as email accounts $5 each, extra space? oh dont even get me started. You want your own domain? Extra fee!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems I was attempting to solve was moving from handcoded html/java websites to an easier content management solution for cost-price. However after moving to Wix, I realized it was not the domain or content management solution I was wanting. I quickly left after being told I had to pay extra fees for simple services that should've been provided with any decent domain handler.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to switch to Wix, I highly advise you not. There are way better solutions out there than an easy, money monger like Wix. They make it seem simple in the beginning but after charging you $5/email, so if you have a small business like 5 employees, you're paying an extra $25 - not okay with me. Extra space? Oh extra fees! You want to get rid of the "website.wix.com" the wix.com address? Extra fees that weren't initially mentioned. I recommend you STAY AWAY FROM WIX :)
Not bad for designing a website but expensive
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can create a free website with only three letters added to the demain name that are also easy to remember. I like the user interface and the amount of templates you can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is expensive when paying monthly for your own demain name. The SEO is only decent if you pay for the monthly subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a website platform for customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my opinion Wix is better than Wordpress in terms of design and usage options but more expensive than Weebly who I decided to go with.
Wix is easy to use but one template doesn't fit all

The selection of templates is pretty uniform and they don't really stand out.

I needed to create a website quickly and easily. Wix allows you to get a site up in minutes.

If you need something quick and easy to implement it's a great tool.
Good Platform For Software Building
What do you like best about the product?
I had Great experience with Wix software. The software is very easy to use and is very helpful for non-programmers. It is easy to create a website as we get guidance at each step by Wix editor. I also recommend the software to my friends as it is free and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software has limited themes and customization options are less. We have to adjust in the given layout and cannot change theme according to our requirement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is an amazing software to build websites and blogs. I often use the software for creating blogs. Moreover, it is a free software to use and they provide us with the free domain that has always proved beneficial to me because I like to create new blogs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like to suggest my friends and colleagues to use Wix. It is an excellent platform for creating a free website.

With Wix, everything I create is very visually appealing. I can easily captivate an audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often times, I find it too easy to use Wix. It takes little to no time to make an advertisement about my company, and sometimes that leads to under-thinking the ultimate goal of my advertisement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create an advertisement that is simple and easily comprehended by the average person. A huge benefit is being able to use Wix on a mobile devise. That makes it super accessible to the average person.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Wix only if you are knowledgable of using other advertising programs. It is easy to get wrapped up in the ease of Wix

I had no web design experience before using Wix, and it is so easy to use! I quickly gained confidence and experience using Wix. They've also continued to improve their product!

Every now and then, there is a feature I wish they had, but often they implement the feature within a year or so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to design a new website for our organization with no prior experience. I'm able to edit and update the site with ease.

They're support pages are awesome. Whenever I have a question, I can always find a page or forum on it.
Easiest way to build a stunning site!
What do you like best about the product?
Total control over every part and component. Size color or shape, you can change them all

It's pretty perfect! I must say it's best for small businesses or personal use. Sites that use big pictures, and designed to grab your attention

We needed a site and we needed it quick. For that we used WIx

What do you like best about the product?
When building a website that will deal with a high volume of traffic, it's crucial to have the tools at your fingertips to ensure success. Wix Answers lives up to that standard. With excellent service that is both prompt and concise, I was able to create a website for my company that could reach it's best potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only negative would be that with so many tabs to choose from, it's sometimes difficult to decipher where the answer to your specific question might live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Wix Answers my website is clean, user friendly, and able to tolerate an extremely large traffic pool. This is due to the detailed answers to the many questions that come up when creating a site for a growing business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you go into Wix with a general idea of what you want, the customer support and ease of use could not be better. However, if you have no clue of what you want, the many specific tabs can be overwhelming to anyone unfamiliar with the product and terminology. Either way, your site is sure to come out looking outstanding thanks to Wix and their team. Don't be afraid to ask questions, Wix Answers is sure to have the answer for you!
Wix the all in one experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to design and edit y website as well as monitor activity and access orders all from one spot, it's very convenient. There are lots of templates to choose from and creating and editing a site is pretty easy
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't really have anything to dislike, the product does exactly what I need it to for a fair price. My last site discontinued its software so I decided to choose a more popular one in hopes that it stays online
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have had no problems. I utilize the online shop, customer service, customer contact and all are very resourceful

What do you like best about the product?
Wix offers all of the essential, basic website tools. It allows me to share information in an attractive way, and it comes with multiple user-friendly and appealing layouts with customizable options. It also has great free features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix can operate slowly. Loading and updating templates takes time, especially when compared to similar sites. I wish the layouts had better customizing options. I can change the details, but major components are set in stone, which doesn't adapt well with my brand.

It allows me to share information with interested parties in a free, attractive, professional-looking manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This site is fantastic for classroom-based activities and general classroom learning, especially due to the free resources it offers. It is slow, though, which makes it less practical for business use. Websites are difficult to make significant changes to, so be sure to pick a template you love before publishing.
