Wix website
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use, easy to find solutions, and looks clean and inexpensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can possibly look generic, and may be difficult to get domain if you switch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use their web development tools to help drive people to our website which brings them to our events.
Best platform for your business
What do you like best about the product?
I like that wix.com makes it easy for any user to create their own website,especially in ecommerce. It allows your creativity to shine through and provides enough guidance to construct a efficient site for your business

I do not dislike anything about wix. This site has literally been my saving grace when I wasn’t satisfied on other company’s limited options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m solving the “middle man” Selina. Meaning, every item is sold by my own website instead of having it be referred to Shopify or Etsy

Very easy to use interface for building great websites. Lots of integrations and templates. I have built 5 sites and they all look great!

Thee really isn't anything I dislike about the experience. It is a fantastic tool for building powerful websites.

Web accesible new feature is really nice.
It is super easy to create your webpage without needing to know HTML.
The little apps are cool.
The offers they have are complete, cheap and renewal. They always have an option for what you need and give you like coupons when you buy them something.

What do you dislike about the product?
Little apps are cool but they crash sometimes.
There was no "log in" button sometimes, only a "create account" in the main page.
You will never be able to "talk" to a person of wix if you've got a problem, you have to use the forums and they will help you there. Ain't bad but different and sometimes you have to wait a lot or browse yourself for the answer.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We created and have our website with Wix because we can modify it anytime we want without being charged like we used to when an agency took care of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use your imagination or use the already built themes wix has, they are really useful and easy to modify, you can also add apps -shopify, for example-, you just have to look up what you need.
Get in mind that you will not be able to talk with someone if you need help, it's all about forums here.

Easy drag and drop
What do you like best about the product?
I used wix as my platform for my first website. It was very easy to use as you just have to drag and drop items. I do not have any experience in web design but I was able to build a simple website.
There are many themes to choose from and it is very customizable. Plug ins are easy to incorporate. My favorite is hits counter that shows me who are my visitors and from what country they are from.
All in all, eix was a wonderful experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is expensive to connect domains in wix but if you do not want to spend too much on designs, ot is worth it .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use in website design. Drag and drop is awesome plus seo feature was great. By tinkering with wix i learned the basics of putting up a web page and seo practices.
Wix for Email Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
I like using WIx to design email marketing campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how there aren't many templates to choose from on Wix.

Disturbing sales mechanics
What do you like best about the product?
I must admit that although the interface is great, and the themes are really awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's something disturbing in their sales mechanics (pushing you again and again to upgrade, even though I'm already a paying customer), as well as their offering within the free tools.
It seems like they did the minimum on each feature, just to check each box, and not invest into upgrading and offer a really exciting and rich modules, while promoting 3rd parties to develop premium features, e.g. the gallery module.
I've monitored it for the past 2 years, and nothing changed there (no new capabilities or designs...) It comes with a lame design, very minimal, and if you need something that looks better, you need to pay for a premium feature...

Be patient (re the amount of ads appearing all the time) and ask for new / improved features in the support forums
Wix Wrox!
What do you like best about the product?
Holy smokes. I've seen Wix.com commercials on youtube before...alot. I've typically used Wordpress for my blogging, but when I wanted to add a professional looking business page as a tech non-savvy person, I went to Wix. It was so easy and user friendly! I like Wordpress, but I have to do alot of coding and adding my own stuff and sometimes I don't know where or how to put it and once I put it there I can't find out where 'there' is. Not the case with Wix! I can always find what I'm looking for and it even gives suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that took me a little bit to figure out was how to get the Web version to look like the Mobile version...or I guess how to make the Mobile version to look right to my clients. But once I figured that out it wasn't an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have my own website, so I'm reaching my clients and my facebook page is linked as well. That's making it easier for them to see my specials and promotions and I am also on google. Wix is helping them find me!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try and compare with what you are using now, that's what I did, and I found that Wix got alot more traffic for me and was easier to use.

What do you like best about the product?
I thought the website builder had great templates and easy simple to use. I started with the free version and it worked for me for a while. I had to upgrade eventually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once I decided to upgrade, I found the pricing to be a bit high. Also, I tried to be more creative with my template and that became difficult. Once I started trying to customize more, it became less user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Wix as a portfolio website and it got the job done. I needed a place online to display my work quickly and easily.

I like that you can submit an answer and they get back to you within a few days.

What I dislike about it is that if you need a rapid response you won't get it. This can be frustrating if you need help with on area on your website before making it "go live."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem I'm solving with Wix Answers is making my homepage user-friendly on all mobile devices. I have realized that they give me helpful suggestions and new tools to work with.

Make sure that you have plenty of time for troubleshooting before making your website go live.
