What do you like best about the product?
The platform has the best set of questions for testing the people we needed to hire. The customer engagement team is very active and not only helped us in setting up the tests, but also helped us in understanding the best practices for screening.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to add more questions to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has cut down our bandwidth of campus hiring to 90%. We are able to make the best decisions by the detailed report we get hackerearth tests.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With HackerEarth, the best thing is getting practical and real preparations for the tech industry. Through monthly coding competitions, the student can always be interview ready. There are also various hackathons which help the student to get experience with actual projects and working in a team environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I think the portfolio section can be improved. The updates made by the user do not get visible directly. This could also be a bug with the website. For example, I recently updated my LinkedIn information on the HackerEarth portfolio, but the information didn't get updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve competitive coding problems with languages - Java, C, C++. I take part in monthly coding competitions which HackerEarth organizes. This has benefitted me with a recent interview for internships.

What do you like best about the product?
HackerEarth provides one of the best tutorials along with practice problems there itself. This is one of the best features of HackerEarth. Apart from that, the built-in IDE is one of the best I have seen in any other platform. They help you to conduct Hiring Challenges, Hackathons in a secured manner. Another feature I liked was the random screenshots they take while you are doing any challenge. This decreases the chance of malpractices a lot. They have a good forum. And if you face any problem you just need to mail them and they reply you back in a short period of time. Apart from that if you register for any challenge you get a proper email notification. Team formation is easy and very helpful. So overall a 10/10 for HackerEarth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find anything to dislike. Only thing I miss is small contests that HackerEarth can organize (apart from monthly Ciruits).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used HackerEarth initially for learning purpose when I was in 1st and 2nd Year of College. I learned Data Structures and Algorithms using the editorials of HackerEarth. After that, I started using HackerEarth for various participating in various Hackathons and other challenges.

I liked editorials a lot. They are very well written and explains the concepts in a very satisfactory manner. The build-in IDE is one of the best. I liked the partial marking system as well. They even tell you the answer to a test case while you are working on a solution which helps to test the code in a more efficient manner. Their notification system is one of the best.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One of the best platform to learn. You will find a variety of contests and hackathons here. A great place to host your contest as well.

What do you like best about the product?
The challenges provided by this platform made me think about solutions in a productive and effective way. What i most like is Code Arena section. In that section competing against another coder with time limit made me think solutions faster and accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
According to me , there is nothing to dislike in this platform. Infact i recommended this platform to each and every person who asks me how to improve my coding skills..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly i participated in montly challenges and hackathons and of course code arena also. These all helped me to think in a innovative way and improved by coding skills by an exponential factor resulted that now i am top coder of my class.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great platform to get placed in top MNCs and to improve your coding skills. Also, this platform helps you to think in a innovative way by participating in various hackathons. And one more thing Don't know how to start coding? Don't worry with the practice section on this platform you can learn to code in an easy and effective manner. You can ask about any problem from the hackerEarth community and if you are facing any issue during/ regarding any problem/question you can go to community tab and discuss your problem there where the different coders and experts will help you to solve that issue. All i recommend is go for it and start learning and participating in various challenges through the HackerEarth platform.

It's very easy to track the assessments provided to the candidate and we don't have to create a new test if we need to extend the duration or resend it

Didn't find a lot of auditing features.

What do you like best about the product?
Question bank is good and relevant for hiring programmers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't be sure if the user has looked on internet or tried on some other screens. Therefore, have been looking some even better scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It didn't add much of a value as compared to other competitors like Hacker rank, I felt all these platforms only target developers hiring. When targeting advanced areas like Data Science, Embedded, IoT, Big Data, AI the platform lacks the problems. The platform can just check the theoretical knowledge of the person.

What do you like best about the product?
The HackerEarth platform has helped me organise different coding challenges in my University of Houston. Thing that I love about this is that it’s so easy to use and can be setup in minutes. The tests can assess a developer on multiple skills, and that’s amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I dislike- It works well for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve organized several coding challenges in my university, using the HackerEarth platform.
1. The platform is scalable and assesses several candidates, without any hassle
2. Sending invites to candidates to register for the test, can be done in a jiffy
3. Suggestions to shortlist/archive candidates based on performance.
