Simple, but good

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to manage. It's very user friendly and I don't have to worry about trying to keep track of all of my passwords. I have lots of frequent travel accounts for work and this app makes it easy to keep track of all my unique passwords. The recent integration into the new Apple iOS is great too!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the prettiest app. There are also a number of common log-ins that are not options, which means I don't have the icons for all of them. Not the worst in the world, but it would make it easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to keep track of passwords. I don't have to call IT help to have my password re-set

You cannot manage passwords and secure information without 1Password (if you know a way- let me know

What do you like best about the product?
Running a startup means we use lots of online software. 1Password is the most elegant, secure management for passwords, password updates and password audits that I've ever seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about this software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password allows us to manage passwords almost like a password locker. You use 1 password and you gain access to all the passwords you need. When websites force you to change your update, the changes are automatically updated. We waste no time guessing passwords and getting locked out of accounts. Additionally, we've chosen password "recipes" that are really complex (many symbols, many numbers and a good mix of upper and lowercase that are 17 characters or longer
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password is a well-written piece of software and they have excellent support. Additionally, you can seamlessly use it on computers, mobile devices, and tablets without fear. They also feature articles on how they come up with complex methods of encrypting data and really locking up your data so that only you can access it.

What do you like best about the product?
The multiple extensions and application available for 1password is one of the best things.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the integration in mobile apps so that you can have the password directly filled out by the 1password app isn't as widespread.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security, definitely security. After starting to use 1Password I now have a different password for every account which is something that could not be said before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the chrome apps and the phone apps, also you can use dropbox to keep your 1password in sync.

Secure all your sensitive information with ease

  • September 08, 2017

What do you like best about the product?
I have peace of mind that all my sensitive information is safe and secure. In the app there's a great password generator! so you don't even have to come up with different passwords. The app works great with a lot of apple devices (Mac, Apple Watch, iPhone) very intuitive and syncs great.
What do you dislike about the product?
there's still improving some bugs, but other than that it works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using the app a security measure, to save all may sensitive information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great app to save all you passwords and sensitive information. It might seem a little expensive, but you can't put a price on the security of your information.

Don't know how i lived without it

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password is just a great tool for storing all of my passwords and other info like credit card details. The autofill options is super handy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The autofill feature regularly stops working when I haven't upgraded to the latest browser update yet, and that's pretty annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketing manager I have what feels like a billion social media accounts in addition to the project management, tracking and collaboration tools we use. I don't know what I would do without a tool that is able to store all of these passwords for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it.

Best password manager used to date

  • August 25, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Encrypted password security
- Visually rich icons
- Ability to share passwords and information easily and securely with - -acceptable warning screen before executing commands.
- Frequent updates for the developer that is responsive to user feedback
- easily to read passwords with the option to enlarge text and differing colour codes so numbers, symbols and letters can be easily differentiated.

1password is my one stop shop for anything relating to password and information storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about 1password.

Newly randomly created passwords can sometimes be lost when a prompt box fails to appear when creating a new login detail for a website login area

At times when saving new passwords the program can get confused with where the new password is to be saved, and in some instances, I have lost my new password forcing me to reset the password once again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowed improved security to all my online platforms.
Cost effective way to manage my sensitive information
Family Friendly
Have my information available where ever I go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need high-end information security this may not be the platform for you however for the average home user this is a piece of software I wouldn't ignore.

I have been using 1Password for the past 2 years and it's an excellent experience.

What do you like best about the product?
The software has a nice and clean interface, easy to use, very fast and it's so reliable and natural I almost started to forget websites still use passwords, it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Chrome plugin sometimes becomes unresponsive and I need to refresh the page or exit/reopen the 1Password software "process" from the Task Manager to get it to work, I wish there was a "reset" button to restart the process in an easy way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use a plethora of web services as part of my daily workload, as a security conscious tech guy, I'm required to use a different password for each website I signup to, which proves to be too difficult in practice, now with the 1Password software, I simply create a very long random password for each website I signup to and it'll log me in with no hassle each time I need to use that website, this saves me precious time and effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend you give it a try, you will love it and it'll be part of your workflow in no time.

Best Password Manager around

  • July 18, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1Password is simple and intuitive. It integrates with all browsers, you can use a keyboard shortcut, a browser extension or the tray icon. It also integrates with different operative systems, whether desktop or mobile. There's a master password to access all of them and the password generator can create a random one and save it after you signup the service you're trying to register.

If you use Apple devices, you can use sincronize or Vault (where your passwords are) between devices. It's the best security application. It helps your forget about the passwords, forcing you to have more secure standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit high (I'm refering to the one-time, not the monthly subscription), but it's worth it. I'm using it for a couple of years and I don't regret it. System integration, from my experience, in OSX (and later, macOS) is not that great. For example, in iTunes you have to use the tray icon and look for your password. This is because of how the system sandboxes applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password management, and more specifically, having strong and different passwords for each service, accessible on any of my devices.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't think twice. It's a stable software. The way the passwords are stored in the Vault is public (meaning, they publish technical information about it) so you can check their high security level.
