MicroStrategy - a great analytic tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Micro allows me to analyze any promotions that we have recently ran to compare YOY sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the service times out and I have to change my password frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to determine sales lifts by running sales on a monthly basis and identify opportunities.

Complicated to get a specific data if you’re not familiar with application

Pulls reports for necessary for everyday work duties
Great $$$ reports

Allows for quick creation of useful budget reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be difficult to learn at the beginning. Many different reports and not all names make sense.

MSTR is a must for your BI

being good with emerging technologies and as BI Analytic and reporting tool.

not much but I would say more public training for newly added features.

BI reporting. Quick and neat reporting for my end customers.

The Power of MicroStratgey
What do you like best about the product?
MicroStrategy has an array of products that helps with end to end solutions. I like the fact they have not been bought by another company, they have stayed true to themselfs.
What do you dislike about the product?
In regards to the end user the learning curve is a little high. However, once users understand they become proficient in using the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Focus for our DWH is operational. Answering questions on a daily basis for PBM's. It is important for plans to know how users.
A tool for everything
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of how data sources and visualizations can be ingrated and used to produce useable dossier or document
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be a little overwhelming for beginner users to start off.

Constant evolution of product, wholly owned components

VI still kind of hard to use for "normal" users

operational monitoring, payment product launches & adoption, regulatory research, customer segmentation
MicroStrategy is great as an Enterprise level BI tool.

MicroStrategy is great at handling huge amounts of data and projects.

Bugs in product and bugs in patches to take care of other bugs.

Financial institution issue/Fraud/Vendor relcations etc.
Great tool, lots of features
What do you like best about the product?
ability to pull, and combine, data from several sources. Makes the tool very versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding the right place to format graphs or visualizations, change options, etc, is not as intuitivie as I think it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor management reporting. Allows our dev team to produce content rich dashboards quickly.
