Versatile too handle big data
What do you like best about the product?
MSTR offers a variety of solutions tailored to your business needs. The visualizations are powerful. The interface has multiple options allowing for lower technical skill users to have hands-on experience while also empowering highly technical users to code their solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the complexity of options such as dossier versus document, it can be difficult to optimize your solutions. We have also experienced some performance issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need one source of truth for all metrics across all clients and data sources. MSTR allows us to work towards that goal.

What do you like best about the product?
Report automation .. We use Distribution Services for emailing reports and saved reports to a shared drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found comparable html widgets to replace the flash objects on production reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use MicroStratgy throughout the enterprise (hotel, casino, customer, parking and financials).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use a consultant to set up your initial schema and don't allow ffsql.
Lacks Statistical Analysis features
What do you like best about the product?
Fast at returning large amounts of data. Easy for users to adjust reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with R could be much better.

Returns large amounts of data. Can be stored locally in cube.
Stable platform by a company focused on BI features

Stable, proven, expertise in BI and trends

New features release are often not compatible with everything

finding good resource and once you find them keeping them for long in the team.

The capabilities Microstrategy provides is great. Allows performing much more that just analytics. they are far beyond any competitors in the space

Licensing, Cost prices are high and need to do better marketing for general awareness
