What do you like best about the product?
MicroStratey provides all different kinds of tool/products, for example admin tool like OM, IM, developer tool like developer, web, products like mobile, web. Also Enterprise Manager is a good way to see how users adopt our projects and monitor the usage/traffic and possible performance insight.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of MicroStratey products makes the learning curve too long. Many hidden features/properties need several clicks to find. Performance tuning is hard. it takes too long to build a fancy dashboard compring with other BI tools like tableau
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enterprise level reporting, data integrity, possible to scale up, powerful SQL engine are reasons we chose MicroStrategy instead of tableau. We use MicroStrategy to analyze loan data and check loan performance

The posibility to have in one tool the power to analize data, visualize it and share it with the whole company
What do you dislike about the product?
For a retail company as the one that we work, the cost is a problem, because we have to buy a lot of licenses to all of our stores managers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We gave an ipad to all the store managers (100) in our retail company, so they can have all the information they need in the morning.

Holistic platform apporach, great In-memory engine and SQL generation, Security layer

Poor choice of visualisations, expensive licensing, Web vs Developer editor features do not line up

Analysing drug prescription, patient diagnosis and doctor specialties related data helping Pharma companies to run their business more efficient (i.e. drugs pricing).

The ability to utilize my own data and create graphics displaying large quantities of data

Sometimes the spreadsheets are difficult to pull in. Need more "breadcrums" to determine source data

Good software, many options to create reports and dashboard, user-friendly and you can easily integrate code from sql, R, Python which is really useful to integrate your stat and analytics. Great design for data vizualisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upload data from your own data base and create metrics takes time ...

Not that much from now I just start using it

the visual insight feature allwed non-technical users to find trends, make thrir own formulas and make nice graphas

some times the architectual side gets too big depending on how big your data warehouse is

Make sure to have a nice back uo from higher management to make sure the useage in the company will be easier

What do you like best about the product?
That you can use MSTR for OEM integration. SDK capability, APIs... The user magament and administration is really good at enterprise level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitation in Dossier for now. Need to be more versatile

Access to data, data centralization, data visualisation and so more

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Microstrategy can answer any question our business asks of us. We can provide the simplest of reports to the most complex dashboarding tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some times I feel like my hands are tied in developing to a business users specifications when it comes to using documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently providing the sales team customer data on tablets with Microstrategy providing data like they've never seen before.
So far the version that my company has been using provides the level of detail that is necessary.

The flexability of UI/UX that can be developed in mobile applications

For beginner users, sometimes the most basic functions can seem difficult.
