Excellent all in one tool
What do you like best about the product?
Microstrategy is great enterprise reporting tool with advanced analytics and visualization functionality

Somethings are too techy and not straight forward sometimes for ex SDK

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to navigate and it does what it's supposed to. It is nice to have a tool that quickly generates queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be quite slow running reports which can often be problematic for work flow. Also the visualizations aren't great.

What do you like best about the product?
MicroStrategy is the one of the top leading BI tools which is highly scalable and reliable for Enterprise Analytics and Reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
License cost is high and ease of use is little complex for end users especially users with little to no knowledge of an analytics tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving reports and files having complex data which is hard to understand from an internal and external user community perspective can be solved with intuitive reports in the form of grids, charts, documents and dashboards and lot more functionality. There are several other functionalities that are built in MicroStrategy such as OLAP, Scalar, Scientific and other aggregation functions which enable users to do simple to complex calculations on their data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
MicroStrategy is an industry leading BI reporting and analytics tool which is very sophisticated. I would recommend this tool to any organization planning to implement BI initiatives. This tool has all the latest features that a modern BI Tool provides.

I am doing master in business intelligence and to analyze and give strategic decisions, I am using MicroStrategy.

Their students' version is not as smooth as an enterprise.

It’s easy to user and can be presented to many users; we use it for enterprise deployment where tableau or power BI are not best practice

ITs expensive to install and huge setup cost
