visual insights for beginners is good and interactive session.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speaker events were not part of the brochures and difficult to find out the location timing.

What do you like best about the product?
Its one of the best tools I am using for creating reports, documents and dashboards. I use both Microstrategy Developer as well as web version.
What do you dislike about the product?
A certain functionalities not available in Microstrategy web for which I have to access Microstrategy Developer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating reports and documents for the client.

What do you like best about the product?
It shows trends in a user friendly way. I can customize which target accounts to view before I make a sales pitch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to go through several steps to refresh the data. Many times I will leave the old data for a couple weeks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am educating physicians on a pharmaceutical medication that could improve patients lives. By understanding their prescribing habits, I can tailor my messaging to have a better impact.

Not much. Was tough initially with the old versions.

It can be challenging until you are either fully trained or have spent a significant amount of time with it.

At this time we're using the tool to perform audits of several different databases.

Get us much training beforehand as you can.

MicroStrategy Adhoc Capabilities,
Strong Administration,
Visual Insights (With improvements needed towards usability and performance)
Awaiting/Excited to use/try Dossier that MSTR is coming up with (Going to be BI Revolutionary)

Enhancements are sometime slower for smaller or minor issues
DEFECTS/LIMITATIONS keeps piling up
Will recommend MSTR to improve their KNOWLEDGE BASE site

Health Care Business & Financial Business. We get lot of operational reports or user daily usage reports or Mobile Ready Apps to interact and take decision immediately from the Mobile devices in LIVE

Good tool if you are clear with DWH/BI usage from the enterprise standpoint.
Requires proper Admin to maintain the SERVERS
Requires technical skills to build the core Metadata alone
MicroStrategy comes with lot of innovative ideas every year - so they are catching the market and focusing accordingly
Very good adhoc flexible tool - if you've good schematic design (with good data model design)
Mobile Apps are easy to build and deploy - specific to mobile audience and will be like REAL LIVE APP with all key usage/features

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy for a beginner to create a report in Microstrategy. It gives a lot of meaning to the Data. Amazing product to use in Business Intelligence!
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience I like every features of this wonderful product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are into the Media domain. This product helped us to create the viewership dashboards.

A very reliable product which does a great job in Business Intelligence!
