which is easy to understand the lineage between tables and shemas
What do you like best about the product?
Automatically import and analyze the relationship from the connected schema or databases, which is helpful for BI team to understand the data came from and its relationship to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, only the experience when we need to connect or integrate with LDAP, which encountered some problems and fixed by our architect already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem always happened when we imported a new schema or table from CDC side the upper layer, which caused us to confuse the relationship with original tables. And no interface to share between members or users. That is why manta helped us alot.
Manta has provided visibility into how our data structures are connected to each other.
What do you like best about the product?
As we onboard new team members and have existing team members work on projects in new data areas, Manta allows us to see how a given data structure is used downstream and upstream in our data pipelines. This allows for appropriate impact analysis and testing whenever logic changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of setup required to get it installed and implemented. Also, for complex environments with many tables, there's a bit of organization needed to understand and visualize our data structures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Manta to visualize lineage between data structures. We have quite a few legacy data pipelines that are not fully understood. Manta allows us to reduce the time it takes to understand how our pipelines function.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a dedicated resource who will be responsible for understanding the tool's capabilities, installation, and troubleshooting with support.
Best of the Class Data Lineage Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Everything about it was helpful. It has a easy to use user interfaces without complicating the users. It offers a wide variety of features and functions to track out data lineage and the overall smoothness of the output is very much satisfying. It perfectly and beautifully helps us with visualization of the data flow through out our organization. It is compliant with ISO certifications 9001 and 27001 which proves how much big consideration it gives for the security of it all. Furthermore, it integrates and worked with our existing solutions smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it is a great application. Only little thing is that its community is small hence it took an amount of searching and work to get an idea when some problem occurs. But still, its technical support was eager to help us with any questions we had.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For quite sometime, we were looking for a software which could automate the process of tracking data flow through our systems. And was in need of an immediate solution so that we could get some compliance regulations in check. And then we found Manta Flow. Now with this business intelligence software, which acts as a central hub for the data that flows in the organization, we are smoothly tracking our data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are also looking for a software that can smoothly and flawlessly track your data flow through your small or massive organization, go with Manta Flow and nothing else. It is perfect in every way imaginable.

very easy and intuitive to navigate. Data recommended is very useful and classification algorithms work awesome!

Very helpful and I was able to find relevant resources when I needed.. so, hard to find a thing that I disliked

What I liked best was the fact that it exists, though not the implementation.

IBM Watson knowledge catalog was poorly designed by a group of underpaid developers and marketed by well-compensated demon-vipers.

I am still waiting to reap any benefits. The best feature of the knowledge catalog are the female text 2 speech voices. Very slick!

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog automatically saves data assets. Best for data engineers, data scientists, business analysts as it lets you find, understand, share and use the assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it is cloud-based, it gets slower at times. And it is not free, it is paid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It bridges the gap between business and technical assets. As it lets you put the assets in the repository and provides business explanations for them.

What do you like best about the product?
Its compatible with any technology. From blood ailments,to cancer,aids to weather forecast,to teaching to engineering and industrial services it can outshine anywhere

We look for resonable services.Had the cost of the services little friendly it would be of great benefit to users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used IBM watson knowledge catalog for recommendation purpose. i am trying to optimise a website for watching old music videos.After using the service the user base has shown up a hike of 10 percent.

What do you like best about the product?
It can be used in almost any technology such as in healthcare , teaching assistant, weather forecasting, Knowledge sharing, Technical survey, quiz etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
This service too costly. i would like it to use if price is bit lesser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for its recommendation system. Actually we were optimizing a movie watching website and wanted to use IBM's Watson's recommendation features to recommend movies to users. After using the service our User base increased by around 20% within a month.
