ETL made easy
What do you like best about the product?
We set up our Google Sheet > MSSQL pipelines in a matter of minutes. It was a breeze, and so far we have had no issues. Best of all the free tier is pretty damn generous.
What do you dislike about the product?
We sync data from a Google Sheet to a MSSQL database, and we have found that there was a few cases of duplicate data being pushed from the sheet to the DB and I'm not certain how to debug or detect these anomalies moving forward without a regular manual comparison / review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use a MSSQL database for a few core business functions, and we need the wider team to edit this information. Our team isn't very technical, and we can't give them read/write SQL access so historically the updates have bottlenecked with the technical team member.
Hevo has allowed us to 'store' the data in Google Sheets for editing by the team, where it is ingested and pushed to the MSSQL database

Feature rich platform with affordable cost
What do you like best about the product?
The pipeline visibility and the frequency of new features are launched
What do you dislike about the product?
Some connectors don't give me a clear view of what is consuming most of my credits (like some tables are being fully ingested all the time)

I gives to our team time to focus on most important (strategic) iniciatives
A great data pipeline as a service and hassle-free support team
What do you like best about the product?
We at Siply have used the Data Pipeline as a service. It was an end-to-end service for flowing our data from our Primary Database to the Secondary Database. The best part was the user-friendly UI and the chat support system that HEVO incorporated.
What do you dislike about the product?
24/7 Chat Support is something I would like to see incorporated in HEVO. The 24/7 chat support system is always helpful because many businesses are consumer-facing and business runs in odd hours too. So, having a 24/7 chat support system will always be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Pipeline as a Service reduces the engineering overhead that a startup (especially those in the early stage) will always welcome. HEVO Data is friendly for non-techies and doesn't require much

Data Ingestion with Hevo is too Easy
What do you like best about the product?
1. It ingests from many different sources like postgres, mongodb, google sheet, google analytics, pendo, hubspot etc.
2. It's very easy to use as we only need to provide the endpoints of source and destination and rest of the thing will be taken care by hevo team.
3. Also, the support team of Hevo is available 24*7 for help and we get a response from them within 5 minutes.
4. And they have cheaper rates as compared to other services like DMS, which will help companies who are switching to data engineering.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. If you are ingesting your data from a database, you need to create a single pipeline to ingest tables the data of all the schemas, which is the least favourable; otherwise, you need to create a different pipeline for each schema, increasing the number of connections to your database.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. They are focusing on drag-and-drop transformation, which will help people who are not good with coding as it will become easier for them to drag the transformation.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and time to deploy. The tool just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have found that the error logs are not as easy to read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool that simplified the Dynamo to Redshift data stream. Hevo is amazing and we now use it for much more.

The most helpful part is the support for tool which replies within minutes and cooperative

It is in developing phase , so lacks some of the required feature like if someone use VPC peering then can't use SSH Tunnel

Comprehensive and ease of use UI. Support for most of the databases.

No proper error messages and UI bugs. Needs more guidance from support team for building pipelines

Decreasing the development time and efforts of setting the data pipelines which involves multiple data sources and destinations.
Not a great experience
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, UI, connection and pipeline steps are straightforward and intuitive. We tried mixpanel to data bricks pipelines, creating connection, setting up the pipelines was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
For mixpanel to databricks pipeline, we faced a lot of issues in terms of data quality, and billable events. The issues are yet not resolved and I think we kind of did a paid testing for them.

GUI based drag and drop pipelining for various sources and destinations with the possibility of transformations as well
Best experience among several hosted ETL vendors
What do you like best about the product?
Best entry price point for cost-conscious users. Great UI. Nearly alone in allowing incremental Postgres extractions based on a timestamp column rather than WAL logs. Everything just worked, as advertised.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like even lower price points for small-data users. We only use about 1/8th of our allowed rows per month, and while HEVO still has the lowest prices of the major vendors for our use case, it could probably be a lot lower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to use the free Matillion Data Loader product. It was limited in some important ways, but free is a pretty compelling price and it allowed us to paper over the shortcomings with more frequent loads. When the Matillion product switched to paid plans only, we went shopping for the best current product/deal for our use case: syncing several database tables from our operational apps to our Snowflake account. HEVO now fills that role admirably with zero maintenance needs.
