Experience with Exponea
What do you like best about the product?
Exponea enables me to create a campaign in a few clicks and helps me be both more efficient and effective in my work. Particularly, I like flexibility of email editor and personalization possibilities which help me to create relevant content to our customer and send it to them at per-person tailor time. Exponea’s flexibility enables me to think of infinite number use-cases since from my experience there is always a way how to do it in Exponea. There is always a consultant ready to help me and support on my hacking journey for a new out of the box use-case.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional UX struggles which however do not influence the functionality, rather design. I would like to have an access from mobile which Exponea does not offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Via Exponea I manage whole communication with our customers where we create several types of emails such as x-sell, up-sell, reactivation, onboarding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most important thing in the beginning is "internal audit" of data and what you want to track and how. Without that no marketing cloud will be good.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that everything in the platform is within one solution, therefore, it is easy to use functions like AB tests for every type of campaign and immediately measure the results. The tracking of Exponea into our platform was fairly easy and the SDK documentation was very well created. When in trouble, Exponea support was prompt to answer and help me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Exponea is evolving fast sometimes I had to wait a few days for the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I implemented recommendations within our website and used algorithms from Exponea to significantly improve the performance in clicks and purchases.

What do you like best about the product?
Exponea consists of two large families of features, i.e. Campaigns and Analytics. We use mainly the analytics part, that is crafted into an easy-to-use Dashboard, which represents a one-stop-shop for important indicators and metrics. Where you can easily add or edit Customer Profiles and make use of behavior history and analytics to improve result delivery times. Thanks to event attributes we can run aggregate or expression, for example you can select event session start and its attribute country into rows. There are also multiple modifiers in report metrics, which help visualize our the data in tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we work with Exponea dashboards, mobile application would be much appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use revenue attribution report to get a comprehensive overview of acquisition sources and customer touch-points leading a purchase. Multiple models include first/last touch, linear, and time decay. Also Exponea allowed our IT department to refocus on their traditional operational support roles.
Good analytics software with good support from developer side.
What do you like best about the product?
I really love that Exponea is oriented towards direct execution and fast result delivery - this suits us a lot. Exponea is a great combination of analytics and engagement automation to improve customer experience. Marketing automation is one of the most advanced I have ever experienced. We use Exponea’s attribution models for specific use cases, personalized and running Aggregates, custom metrics, and SQL Reporters.
Initial Integration took us few hours. Fully operational within 2-3 weeks. What I value the most is that Exponea does not require our IT department capacity for ongoing support and maintenance.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific. Exponea solved us the most challenging use cases. We just need to be up to date because of the new features every 2-3 weeks.

Exponea is loaded with features that will help you understand your customers, and respond to their priorities in real time. We use Exponea for:

One time banner possibilities - we wanted a promotion that would be seen just once by our customers. We created a web layer banner promoting a huge discount for the whole spring deal. The marketing message was “now or never”. It was quite easy to create it via web layer feature in Exponea app with significant impact on activating new members.

What do you like best about the product?
I personaly using Exponea for preparing, sending and anylysing email campains. I really like the way, I can design campains scenario, define who is going to be affected by the campain and at the end evaluate campain.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can´t edit email templates designed by WYSIWYG editor later in HTML form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for most of our triggered emails based on events tracked by Exponea.

Exponea is all in one tool for planning, executing and analysing across multiple channels.

With Exponea we know how to evaluate user behavior, we can apply lot of AB Tests an many more. It is a complex tool that includes all our requirements. We are also satisfied with the support. They are very willing to solve the problem.

One word to describe Exponea - Freedom
What do you like best about the product?
There are many templates to be used and even though it is highly customisable for a skilled programmer, it is still user-friendly enough for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside for me is a heavy need for hard skills in statistics, analytics and/or coding. This comes hand-in-hand with customisation possibilities, so this is something to prepare for if you want to tailor Exponea to your every need.

MArketing automation tools, customer characteristics and additional promotional activities on our website and mailing campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
There are two things we like about Exponea the most. Firstly, it offers both analytics and marketing automation functions so we do not need to use any different tools for individual tasks. Moreover, its features cover not just basic functionalities, such as marketing attribution or simple newsletter campaigns. With Exponea we can easily design and execute also complex personalized scenarios for long-term user lifecycle management, and the like.

Maybe the price :) But it depends on point of view

Well, better analytics than with Google Analytics and marketing automation is very user friendly

Lot of ways to create added value that improve the customer experience. With the built-in AB testing we always know what our customers prefer.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complains at all. It's full time job to take care of Exponea. Contains so many features and options of use that we have had to hire new team member to make sure we use in on 100%. I think we still have the backlog ...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From my side of view it helped us to increase the sales and improve the conversion rate. Exponea played very important role in our last year's Black Friday campaign.
