Great function and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, FormAssembly has been very easy to use and to accomplish what we need it to do. Easy, clean, functional and practical. We have loved using it so far and will keep using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logic items are a little more difficult to get used to. Once you understand the logic, then it flows. A little bit cleaner with the logic based fields would make it easier to build.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very complex process that requires logic, tying to Salesforce and creating flows - FA allows us to be able to accomplish all we need to with Salesforce and our process.
Number One Tool for Constituent Surveys, Data Collection, and Salesforce Integration
What do you like best about the product?
The Salesforce connector is flexible, robust and awesome. The number of use cases we use it for are too many too list. Customer support is great - although technical issues are rare, the team has always followed up promptly when we've encountered a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish FormAssembly had a "rank ordered picklist" question type. It would be nice to be able to sort forms in custom folders. A more robust text editor within forms would be nice as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intake forms for our organization - collecting information about new contacts and leads, and creating appropriate contact, account, and opportunity records in Salesforce. Huge constituent surveys - 100+ item questionnaires with flexible conditional options.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's no other survey tool out there that integrates with Salesforce better.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the ease of use OOTB for the product. It's simple IMO to easily setup and connect to SF without much hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the token authorization. Some times the authorized connection would fail resulting in a new token being issued.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leads to Salesforce from a top domain website.

If you can dream it, you can build it. There may be some work around that will be needed

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create forms that pre-fill and connect into our Salesforce database.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "tech" side of things can be hard to handle if you are not tech-savvy. I have gained some knowledge but still do nto feel 100% comfortable on my own without a support sytem

Time management. We used to manually enter all data

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly, both in creating the forms and with setting up the connectors with Salesforce. It's also very easy to access the logs to troubleshoot issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many different functionalities and more in-depth features that we do not use, which sometimes makes finding the ones we do use a little harder to find when modifying forms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a variety of inquiry forms for different populations looking for information, FormAssembly makes it easy to differentiate them and still make a quick and easy form for prospects to complete. It is also very easy to integrate directly with Salesforce so that duplicates can be identified and excluded.
Bulletproof platform with outstanding support
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Formassembly for over ten years and have found both the technology and the support team exceptional. They offer industry-leading integration with Salesforce, and with the new Workflow feature have really taken it up a notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything really that I dislike. The team is so easy to deal with, and nothing ever breaks, so our conversations are more around what else can we do with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created close to 500 forms over the last 10 years, from enrolment forms, to timesheets, application forms, incident forms, medical forms, assessments, salesforce community-integrated payment forms, etc. By using Formassembly, we have been able to solve complex problems while providing a user-friendly experience. Without it, both the cost and the timeframes to deliver would have been far greater.

Allows us to easily capture easily data from external users and extend our business process to third parties

Occasional performance issues for larger forms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us easily expose business processes to non salesforce licensed users and automate our data gathering processes
Dependable, but room to improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which it integrates into salesforce!
What do you dislike about the product?
Still not very user-friendly. While this has definitely improved over the years, it makes customizing the forms a lot harder than it needs to be. It still feels a few years behind tools like survey monkey and even googles forms in ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solely using it for our event registrations and email subscribers with Targetx. If not for the synchronization with Targetx we currently don't have a larger need for this service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You might want to consider having nicer account reps. Ours had her camera off when she raised our contract pricing and literally read from a script.
Excellent form service
What do you like best about the product?
Form Assembly makes connecting forms to Salesforce a breeze. 95% of things can be performed with typing, no code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product can sometimes change in unpredictable ways. A recent example of that is Workflow, where it changed over, and the new iteration missed some of the functionality of that old version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event registration and more complex admissions applications are both possible on FormAssembly. We were able to stand up a new process and series of systems within a matter of weeks with it.

What do you like best about the product?
FormAssembly provides tons of features. Their support is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that our team dislikes is the printable responses are not formatted the same as the form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FormAssembly to gather additional information from applicants. It greatly increases the information we are able to receive from our applicants.
