Bulletproof platform with outstanding support
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Formassembly for over ten years and have found both the technology and the support team exceptional. They offer industry-leading integration with Salesforce, and with the new Workflow feature have really taken it up a notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything really that I dislike. The team is so easy to deal with, and nothing ever breaks, so our conversations are more around what else can we do with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created close to 500 forms over the last 10 years, from enrolment forms, to timesheets, application forms, incident forms, medical forms, assessments, salesforce community-integrated payment forms, etc. By using Formassembly, we have been able to solve complex problems while providing a user-friendly experience. Without it, both the cost and the timeframes to deliver would have been far greater.

Allows us to easily capture easily data from external users and extend our business process to third parties

Occasional performance issues for larger forms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us easily expose business processes to non salesforce licensed users and automate our data gathering processes
Dependable, but room to improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which it integrates into salesforce!
What do you dislike about the product?
Still not very user-friendly. While this has definitely improved over the years, it makes customizing the forms a lot harder than it needs to be. It still feels a few years behind tools like survey monkey and even googles forms in ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solely using it for our event registrations and email subscribers with Targetx. If not for the synchronization with Targetx we currently don't have a larger need for this service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You might want to consider having nicer account reps. Ours had her camera off when she raised our contract pricing and literally read from a script.
Excellent form service
What do you like best about the product?
Form Assembly makes connecting forms to Salesforce a breeze. 95% of things can be performed with typing, no code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product can sometimes change in unpredictable ways. A recent example of that is Workflow, where it changed over, and the new iteration missed some of the functionality of that old version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event registration and more complex admissions applications are both possible on FormAssembly. We were able to stand up a new process and series of systems within a matter of weeks with it.
Great product and the best support!
What do you like best about the product?
FormAssembly provides tons of features. Their support is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that our team dislikes is the printable responses are not formatted the same as the form.

We use FormAssembly to gather additional information from applicants. It greatly increases the information we are able to receive from our applicants.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
Form Assembly delivers for us exactly what it promises - fantastic forms that integrate perfectly with Salesforce. It has been a game changer for our school as we were able to streamline our admissions process with consistent forms that pull data from multiple sources and accept payments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Form Assembly is very flexible and offers a ton of customization (especially since it supports custom javascript code) but it can be a bit difficult to get the forms to look exactly like you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Form Assembly to intgerate directly with Salesforce. For admissions, our school is able to capture data for updating existing families (known accounts and contacts) and perspective families (unknown accounts and contacts) directly into Salesforce which makes data entry on the school's end minimal. By having the ability to add javascript code we were able to customize our forms to our exact specifications. The data being pulled and entered into Salesforce is a quick and flawless process.

Compare other form products and look for reliability and customization as the key decision points.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Speed of from creation. Ability to do more complex forms with multiple pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have multiple users on one account to track who made the change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are capturing customer feedback and lead generation through online forms. We also have a few online job applications that are performing well. And doing some online payments. Benefits are streamlined processes and speed of data collection.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FormAssembly makes form creation and usage simple. The ability to embed forms directly into websites or link to forms hosted on FormAssembly servers provides great flexibility in implementation. Built in integrations with multiple services including Stripe and PayPal makes online payment forms straight forward. On the few occasions when problems have happened, the FormAssembly support team was responsive and resolved the issue. We will continue to use FormAssembly and recommend the service for others working to create online forms.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease in which I can create forms! Customer service has also been great as we continue to evolve the sophistication of our forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit of a challenge in that the formatting of the forms is form specific not field specific. Wish there was more flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Member engagement, collection of information and adding data to Salesforce from our members.
FormAssembly and Salesforce are a great combination
What do you like best about the product?
FormAssembly integrates well with Salesforce. It allows us to collect and bring data into the CRM. We can also prefill forms to ensure data quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve with FormAssembly. The page loads for the connectors can be very slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FormAssembly to collect data from external users and integrate the data with Salesforce. Support for pre-filled links streamlines the process.
Easy Integration with Salesforce!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can easily connect the form questions to my existing data fields in Salesforce. Form Assembly makes it incredibly easy to add value to our existing data and give our customers the ability to update and provide us with information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to make some of the design changes I would like to without searching through help documents and using html editors. I wish the UI would be a bit more intuitive or have easier drag-and-drop style abilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Form Assembly for customer address changes, signing up for special events, taking payments and sending out surveys to our customers and members. There are so many uses for it. Whenever a colleague asks for a process solution, I can design a solution that involves Form Assembly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give this product a try. Their documentation and customer service is awesome. I've never been "stumped" at how to use this product. Awesome job!
