Solid Option for Building Forms
What do you like best about the product?
FormAssembly is pretty user-friendly and has a relatively straightforward interface. It also connects easily with Salesforce and is simple to embed forms on our site.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have the greatest design features - I wish I could customize the look and feel of our forms a bit more. Also, wouldn't mind better payment integrations so we could use it for a broader range of use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FormAssembyly for nomination, application, and registration forms primarily - definitely serves those purposes as well or better as other products I have explored.
Great solution combined with Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using FormAssembly combined with Salesforce.com for years. The connectors make it very simple and powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the form building mechanics are a bit glitchy to maneuver fields but it just tales a minute to get things placed properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest benefit is public (but restricted) access to view Salesforce records and create/edit records.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great especially for simple needs. More complex applications are possible but a lot of creative solutioning is needed.
Great Form Builder that integrates with websites and salesforce seamlessly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, what you see is what you get user interface to configure web-forms. The connector to salesforce can be set-up in minutes and as long as you understand your Salesforce data model it is easy to upsert data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to note. I would be nice to have more robust pre load processing that reads meta data from salesforce to render forms dynamically. Further it would be nice to have more notions of users and profiles/roles in the system to avoid form version collisions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prefilling forms for consituents using url hacking and writing consituent responses directly in our database, integrating google analytics and processing philanthropic donations.
FormAssembly building your form in 60 seconds
What do you like best about the product?
I find it easy to build FormAssembly quickly and change customer requirements
What do you dislike about the product?
The minimum price is higher for a single professional user, and the lower the price the more customers would use it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to use but also saves time.
FormAssembly is a Force Multiplier
What do you like best about the product?
The sky is the limit with FormAssembly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely zero downside to this product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use form assembly for all of our data collection and end-user input. The seamless integration with Salesforce and other platforms we utilize make FormAssembly critical to our operations and a core piece of our framework.
Great software, multiple integrations available
What do you like best about the product?
Technical functions, ease of use, and easy to setup
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly high on the cost side, but it is worth it if you use the software reguarly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data collection, it easy to collect data seamlessly.
Very powerful product. Very versatile
What do you like best about the product?
There is much to like here - I think the template feature is most appreciated because the layout and look of forms is easy to apply to multiple forms. Support for the Salesforce data types makes integration simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not that I dislike features, I am looking forward to adding additional features. Workflow is great but the new features seem to require an upgrade. That is a bit frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to email a link to candidates or supervisors and having their responses feed directly into Salesforce is saving hours of staff time. We were working on scanning in documents and uploading, not being able to rely on Salesforce fields. Our staff was already feeling relief in the first weeks of our implementation. Our time to evaluate candidates has also been cut because they are filling out information and not mailing back paper forms.
Strong software for data collection
What do you like best about the product?
The interface feels reliable and safe for collecting our information. Connection to Salesforce usually works pretty well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating surveys can sometimes be cumbersome, moving questions seems more complicated than in other platforms like surveymonkey. we would like to be able to have multiple users, licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we need to collect information from different centers at a global level and formassembly helps us use similar surveys to then integrate with salesforce
It works for simple forms, but would not replace a custom integration
What do you like best about the product?
It is all point and click, no code required. Easy integration with Salesforce allowing you to create customer facing or internal forms that will update your CRM records. Templates are helpful. It is possible to set a range of values for the field and use conditional visibility to customize your forms. I like that you also have an option to accept payments via stripe and authorize.net integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive! Support is not great and basically just points you to the documentation. E-signatures are only included in most advanced versions, which are even more expensive. Website is not very intuititve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collect information and create/ update records in our CRM. We ended up switching to a more affordable and easier to use option.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider other options as well before committing
Best Data collection at Low cost
What do you like best about the product?
Using form assembly is very easy; we have been automating the transfer of data from a few application forms to the database; form assembly helped us to edit, update and recreate very easily. The best part is webinars and different event-form assembly which keep updated with all latest Technology and updates they have. We can customize our form templates and use various fonts, attracting more customers and getting a giant database.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to integrate Google Maps for better visibility, UI can be improved for faster form creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I could add some HTML in form, easy integration, Attractive forms , easy edits and updates can be made in database
