Form Assembly is easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Form Assembly has helped us to streamline our application processes and is intuitive and easy to use and edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The training does take a little time to get used to the platform, but then everything goes smoothly after that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to streamline our application process and connect all of the information with our Salesforce platform. Now our application is 100% online.
Form Assembly provides a flexible, low-code solution to data collection on the web
What do you like best about the product?
Extensibility - I have created solutions independent of Salesforce, with pre and post connectors for Salesforce, connected to our Paypal and even introduced small Javscript solutions to handle conditionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iframing into Salesforce could se some addtional programming. I have a hard time viewing everything when adding drop downs. Additionally, it would be nice to have some ability to do pre-filling that wasn't based on connecting into an external system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On a system designed for content-delivery only, we are able to collect data and add it to our Saleforce instance. We are also able to collect payment using PayPal
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Push the system, and look at a lot of the customizations you can do in code and conditional/calculated fields. It is quite powerful, but just takes some time to uncover all of the features.
Brilliant product
What do you like best about the product?
The simple layout of the Salesforce Connectors and the customisation that you can put into your forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The regular payment connectors need a little work. It would be great to have a DD block of fields but these can be custom-built.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are linking up our Salesforce environment to an online form, where you can link multiple objects, upsert, and find records.
FormAssembly makes creating and maintaining forms fast and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
The WYSIWYG formatting. Coding is hard. FormAssembly is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some settings and field value lists are easy to miss.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often get invalid values in fields because we can't see the list of valid values while we're setting up the form. The benefit of gathering data directly from web users is tremendous.
Solid product for Salesforce Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
The Salesforce integration for FormAssembly is relatively easy to use. I like that you can connect to any Salesforce org (sandbox, dev account, production) for testing. I have integrated Contacts, Accounts, Campaigns, Cases, Custom Objects, and Leads seamlessly. Updating or creating records at the same time without multiple steps is very helpful. I also like that you can create multiple records of the same object for a form.
An example is that through a formula, I can create Cases for multiple queues based on picklist selections. But my favorite feature is being able to append a checkbox in Salesforce from a picklist selection in FormAssembly. This feature has been extremely helpful in our org, and I have not found this feature on other form platforms that I've used.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many complaints about the FormAssembly integration for Salesforce. I am in IT, not Marketing, so I do not work with the front end of the platform much to speak on the form design process. I have only come across one or two features I wished FA had, and while I was exploring ways to make what I needed work, I found the support team very helpful, even when they could not deliver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use NPSP in Salesforce as a nonprofit. One key piece to Contact records is Affiliations. By looking up Account IDs, I am able to assign Primary Affiliations to Contacts while still creating Household Accounts.
Forms for the everyday user and beyond
What do you like best about the product?
As a base product, FormAssembly is easy to use, affordable, and compatible for all businesses. It Is a long-term or short-term solution for payment portals, applications, volunteer/event sign-up forms, and information gathering. FormAssembly easily integrates with multiple tools such as Stripe, Authorize.net, Google Sheets, Salesforce, and many others. It is intuitive and great for styling.
The customer service and Non-Profit discounts are also fantastic and keep the needs and abilities of the customer in mind.
The customer service and Non-Profit discounts are also fantastic and keep the needs and abilities of the customer in mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
FormAssembly, up until recently, has not had a firm communication policy both internally or externally. When there are system-wide issues, the customer might be the first to experience them but the last to know if the company is working on it. You can often reach out to one team member and get a completely different answer than another team member. FormAssembly is changing its policy on communicating any system error, and we have begun to see the benefits of that. However, we are still waiting for a comprehensive and transparent system, which hopefully comes with time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FormAssembly is an open form tool. We can create donation pages when more upscale tools are unavailable. It integrates with Experience Cloud in Salesforce, an excellent tool for Applications and gathering personal information. You can embed FormAssembly forms in your website to make seamless newsletter signups or help forms. At certain subscriptions, you can also prefill forms from Salesforce to reduce the number of licenses you need in Salesforce and instead pass information from Salesforce to a Form so the data can be reviewed externally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FormAssembly is an easy-to-use tool. You can start with a free trial and get used to the product first. Once you confirm you enjoy the product, you can provide long-term solutions to a myriad of different issues. Do not be afraid to make test forms and play, as you can only break a form after it goes live. Until that time, you can build, modify and develop your form at whatever capacity you want. Also, do not be afraid to reach out to support as they are always there to help you move your form forward.
Makes my life so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with Salesforce and our credit card processor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Form builder experience can be a bit tricky at times when trying to have a very specific layout while working with page size restrictions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage multiple donation pages, event registration pages, and have people submit applications on our website. We have 100% management of these data entry processes.
Very versatile, with many pluses
What do you like best about the product?
I was first introduced to FormAssembly while working at a previous organization. We were moving our CRM to Salesforce, and were seeking a way to automate the transfer of information from a few application forms to the database. Our consultants recommended FormAssembly, since it has numerous ways to "connect" and/or map the fields in the forms to appropriate fields in Salesfoce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the connectors do not always act as expected (we've run into some issues with strange events firing.) Support is terrific -- but seemingly overwhelmed at times -- the response time has not always been timely. Perhaps they need to acquire more support staff? When you can connect, they are very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At my new organization, we implemented FormAssembly on my recommendation. We now use it for Client intake, event registrations, FUTURO applications, donor surveys, vaccine pre-registration, and more. We even use it internally for various SOPs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wholeheartedly recommend FormAssembly -- but suggest that if you do not have a robust IT department, you take the time to do the training.
Most fully featured form building tool for Salesforce users
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to build simple forms and even pretty easy to build complicated forms, withough much coding unless you have steep CSS or custom javascript needs. Can handle conditional display of questions, many kinds of data types, prefill from salesforce at the right pricing tier, and more. The salesforce sync is excellent, far better than many other tools out there
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like better workflows between forms (criteria-based, passing in prefill data). Limitations on how to access salesforce data for use in forms in connectors can be annoying here and there, like passing differnt values based on what's on the record without needing a prefill step, or accessing the record created in formulas and notifications. Being able to prefill without needing 2 page steps or a url prefill would be ideal. I would like to also choose to update a single field or not based on criteria like a record was found in a previous step, without having to make copies of steps to handle each answer (updating leadsource only on new records)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use it for nonprofits-- we create signups for volunteering, applications for programs, and even really complicated many page forms to collect data ofor programs. We post everything to salesforce in a structured format, create child records, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure you get the right pricing tier for your needs
Form Assembly has helped our services organization to complete our daily work in a structured way.
What do you like best about the product?
All the information can be stored and can be accessed via link. This helps to understand what needs to be done while setting up a campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the credentials issue can be more user friendly as the login get locked when multiple users login to same account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are storing all the campaigns information within Form Assembly which can be accessed anytime. This helps with understanding what was requested back in history versus now.
