By far my favorite form tool
What do you like best about the product?
The available connectors. Salesforce, Stripe, Authorize.net, the HTTPS connector is also very easy to set up for other applications. The formula features are very easy to work with and their documentation is on point. I have only needed the assistance of their support team for a setup maybe twice, and the team did not fail to give me a solid solution. The many ways to publish your forms, and use CSS to further develop the customer experience are extremely useful and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
To me, the lack of integration with Zapier is the biggest downside to FormAssembly at this time. If they address this issue, the application itself will be unstoppable.
Also, the mobile views and mobile versions of the forms are still a work in progress. Some of the design features or themes applied to the form don't translate well to a mobile user.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have primarily used FormAssembly for donation processing, data intake, and surveys. The form has made donation processing seamless and consistent throughout many platforms. The main benefit from a nonprofit standpoint was the ability to activate multiple connectors within one form. Sending financial data to the payment processor, customer data to the CRM, and engagement data to marketing tools - all through one form submission.
Over 50 forms Created! - intuitive design, easy to manage integrations
What do you like best about the product?
I've used this tool to create over 50 forms, integrating them all with our Salesforce CRM. I'm so glad FormAssembly could handle the level of complexity I needed. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, the integration setup is straightforward, and I appreciate that I could use some HTML to add some branding/styling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hmm. I don't have much on the "dislike" front. As with any software, there is a learning curve, but their online resources are good and their support team responsive for those occasional times when I have gotten stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work at a Higher Education institution, in admissions/marketing, and we use FormAssembly forms for all of our digital lead generation forms, as well as surveys, plus complex forms students need to fill out before enrolling. This tool has been reliable the whole way. If anything, we keep finding new ways to expand our use of it.
Game-changing functionality for our Data Collection
What do you like best about the product?
As a heavy Salesforce org, we rely upon FormAssembly's flexible SF Integrations for routing our data where it needs to be. Without FormAssembly we would not be able to paint the complete picture of our reach with teachers and schools around the globe!
What do you dislike about the product?
Ocaassioanly, we do have issues with the form builder UI, sometimes it is difficult to place things without it bumping other items around and it often takes several tries to get something where you want it. Once in a while we also find that having to refresh the API connection on Forms that have not been edited in several months and that suddenly have a high submission rate is something that's easy to forget and causes submission issues for the participant. For example, a survey we use once a year needed its API connection to Salesforce refreshed, and when it received submissions, the submitters were routed to a generic FormAssembly technical issues screen, which made it difficult for our admins to determine what the cause of the issue was.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FormAssembly to collect and update client data for contacts and opportunities, and use FA as our primary survey tool, allowing us to route all survey data into a series of custom objects in Salesforce for our own custom analytics, a truly game-changing tool!
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating forms...you don't need to know coding to create nice looking forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything right now that I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the forms across campus even in those departments that aren't in Target X. We set up forms a few years ago for housing to use. At present, other than all of the Admissions forms and applications, we are running our Registration Day sign ups and survey through it. I really like the fact that if someone on campus needs a form, we can create one for them to use that doesn't have to be connected to our CRM.
Great for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
The easy integration with Salesforce and switching to different sandboxes if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching the logs can be a bit tricky when trying to debug.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Custom form creation that validates and updates Salesforce
Solid data intake option integrated with Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using FormAssembly for several years to collect participant data for several program initiatives. Form Assembly allows you to create customizable forms and create completion actions that include integration with Salesforce (creating new records and updating records, creating attachments etc) as well as integration with other platforms, such as Google Drive
What do you dislike about the product?
More advanced features are not easy to learn, such as formulas, documentation could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create custom data intake forms, use validation rules for fields
FormAssembly Useful Once You Get a Hang of It
What do you like best about the product?
The Salesforce connectors, including prefill connectors, make it easy to gather and store data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connectors aren't always the most user-friendly. They take some getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Survey data collection, application submissions, grant requests, and more. We use FA in all parts of our business
It's not bad. Expensive.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy. No coding skills necessary. I was able to immediately use the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive. We want a connection to authorize.net but for our small nonprofit it's not cost effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for a membership form on our website and it's integration with Salesforce.
Compile client responses to refer back to again and again
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Form Assembly allows me to share a link for my clients to easily fill out, without the need to log in, or create accounts. It also keeps all of the information I need in organized and easy to find formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, I get feedback from clients who are unable to submit their forms. And working remotely, the best solution we can work with is to ask our clients to send us screen shots of their responses directly to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s wonderful for collecting all sorts of data and helping to sort it. Whether we are looking for a median age range, country, or other demographic. It comes in handy for grant reporting as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Perfect for collecting information from many different individuals
Great product for integration with Salesforce!
What do you like best about the product?
Form builder is simple to use and very customizable. The backend backend integration is straightforward and I love the ability to prefill forms from Salesforce data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see payment connectors a little more configurable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data collection is more streamlined and have eliminated the need for manual entry. Web forms have enabled online capture of data when COVID has prevented in person presentations.
