Ability to capture most things in Salesforce
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great if a native Salesforce application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of Data capture
Affordable, Flexible, and Scalable
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about FormAssembly is how flexible the forms are and how they can input data directly in my database.
As a small nonprofit, FormAssembly gives us almost infinite flexibility for a price we can afford, and control over every aspect of input, submission, and notification.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes these forms can be buggy, and anything advanced requires some coding that is beyond my skills.
However, tech support is pretty responsive, so with time and help I can usually do what I want with the forms.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Donation platform, event RSVP, and volunteer sign-in.

A great tool if you're short on budget but long on time to spend setting up forms.
Love FA!
What do you like best about the product?
Connectors to Sales Force, ease of creation of forms

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get is as fast as you can :D
Using Form Assembly for online application, general volunteer inquires and volunteer payments.
What do you like best about the product?
Forms are easy to build and the online platform is user friendly. There are also a lot of online videos that help answer questions regarding ways to build forms. (IE: Explaining the difference between a radio button and check boxes.) The support team (shout out to Micah) has also always been very helpful when I email or request a live chat. Also like to Salesforce integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of our users accidentally deleted a form and it was unrecoverable. It may be nice to add an 'archive' or some other type of platform to save deleted files. It would be helpful to have a "search" bar in forms that have been submitted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have greatly reduced our use of paper products since we began using Form Assembly for our online application process.
Easy to use form builder for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Love that we can quickly and easily build a form for pushing data both in and out of salesforce. Oftentimes I have clients looking for an complex form building tool and I point them to FormAssembly. Other times, I have clients looking for an easy to use form building tool for their end users, and I also point them to FormAssembly! Mapping data is super simple, as well as building complex conditional pieces of forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bringing in more than 10 records in a prefill becomes unusably slow. I always wish picklists would sync with Salesforce picklists so adjustments don't have to be done in both places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this mostly for event registrations and support requests, within the higher ed space in my consultancy, but we use it for Request for Information regularly, as well as event attendance, and other miscellaneous forms. Time to live is extremely quick!
Robust connectors to salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Support is very solid and quick to respond. You can connect to almost anything in Salesforce and manipulate the data the way you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI has improved in recent years, but is still weak compared to competitors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for application forms that feed into Salesforce.
Does exactly what I need
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use! The user interface is clean and new users can get up to speed with little training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really tried and I can't think of anything to dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting data into Salesforce can be tricky. Never mind the risk of creating duplicate records. With FormAssembly, creating a form that's smart enough to update rather than creating a new record!
Very flexible and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Connectors, endless possibilities to expand functionality and API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of nice preformated templates. More moderm templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feeding info from Form Assembly into CRMs and other programs,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Solid platform
FormAssembly is great!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature is the FormAssembly iOS app; my recruiters can have prospects fill out info electronically and sync it later when wifi is abundant. No more hard to read hand writing or manual uploads.
What do you dislike about the product?
The logic for syncing with Salesforce is a little complicated. You would want a well-versed admin to set that up for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for online event registration and onsite prospect registration. It cut down a lot of time for our recruiters and helped us get better info in a more timely manner
Lots to learn, but lots of tutorials available.
What do you like best about the product?
That there were tutorials available for me to teach myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I did not learn right away that form assembly could 'pull' fields from Salesforce instead of having me create fields that would later need to be mapped to Salesforce fields. I think if our consultant had told me this first - and had me wait to start building forms until he had built the fields/tables in Salesforce, it would have been less work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None so far, but I am told that once it's up an running, information entered by our clients will automagically be copied over to their files in Salesforce - one less opportunity for typos transferring information by hand.
