Easy features for a larger organization
What do you like best about the product?
It was simple to figure out how to set up forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Salesforce was difficult to figure out. There needs to be an easily accessible guide to help with the setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business needs to easily manage forms with the connection to SFDC. We are still not completely sold on FormAssembly since the price points are too high for our organization.

Incredible power, flexibility, utility, ability to import Salesforce object as basis of form
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support has suffered recently -- not timely enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online forms donations and registrations info into Salesforce. Direct entry of data from webforms into our CRM.

Consider timeliness of customer support.
Form Assembly has made our lead review process easier to test.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to integrate with HubSpot and Salesforce - our lead flow data is coming in cleaner than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like actually building the forms - it could be more clear with logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to seamlessly tie our lead flow structure together with Salesforce and Form Assembly. Then, it integrates with HubSpot to fuel our marketing efforts. It's all talking together very well, which is a huge improvement to where we were before we began using it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend making sure you're integrating it with your entire marketing stack when able to. It has been integral in fueling our marketing program with instant data, ensuring that our customer follow up is quick and top notch.
User Case for Nonprofits

Customization and integration w Salesforce
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations of themes and UI.. would love to customize w code to match company branding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FA has severely cut down our data entry processes and eliminated human error in making sure our many client assessments are stored, used and found in one place. Data analytics has been so much easier without sorting through massive stacks of papers. We also use FormAssembly for volunteer registration and event surveys.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Connect with support. They’re so helpful!
FormAssembly for all your Salesforce needs
What do you like best about the product?
The FormAssembly integration with Salesforce blows the other products I've used out of the water. The lookups to records are intuitive and functional. Mapping fields is strait-forward, and allows formulas in the mapping rather than having hidden fields/data in the form. The prefill feature allows us to automate some of our more complex business processes, while keeping data clean. The conditional logic and formula possibilities in the form are endless! Lastly, their support is the best I've experienced in the industry... they're quick to respond to questions, help with formulas, and troubleshoot any bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I occasionally get frustrated with the user interface and drag/drop fields. It's not always intuitive to get fields into the layout you're looking for. I think there is room for improvement when changing the appearance of the form... it's not very easy for those who don't have a lot of HTML skill
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We manage thousands of volunteers through the signup process with FormAssembly. We also have complex membership/donation forms that require a significant amount of conditional logic that other donation platforms couldn't handle. The preform feature is the added bonus to help us keep our data clean.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're working with Salesforce, or need conditional logic that you haven't found possible with other systems, start a trial with FormAssembly and you'll know what to do.
Powerful Application Form for Educationalists
What do you like best about the product?
The deep and secure integration with Salesforce, with conditional logic and the ability to create and update N number of child records for qualifications, experience etc is very powerful - all without code
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can at times be a bit clunky, and some of the help information relates to old versions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- application forms for higher education institutions
- creating complex views of multi-record information in Salesforce communities
- marketing surveys
- creating complex views of multi-record information in Salesforce communities
- marketing surveys
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remember that if using Salesforce the best way to start is with 'Import from Salesforce' that auto creates your initial fields
Excellent for use with Salesforce!
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to create unique forms that 3rd parties can fill out. Once filled out it will automatically populate in the predesignated fields in Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
The website and instructions are not as user friendly in some respects. Initially you'll probably have to utilize some of the Q&A sections in order to figure out how to use certain features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had to email realtors for a BPO. Once the BPO was received we would manually put certain data into a spreadsheet and then upload to Salesforce. Now we have a form that we sent to our realtors so that the data will automatically be loaded into Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Initially I would suggest having tech support involved to setup some of the processes until you get the hand of using it. Creating the form is quite easy but connecting it to various applications can be a bit of a challenge.
Best tool to collect and move data into Salesforce!
What do you like best about the product?
Form Assembly has one of the most robust Salesforce integrations I have seen in a data capturing platform. Hands down my favorite feature! We also really enjoy the logic available on questions along with all of the different question types available.
What do you dislike about the product?
This could totally be on my end (user error:), but I do wish forms could be made more aesthetically pleasing without having to write CSS. This limitation does require to us to use a different form processor on some pages of the website and we'd really prefer to use just one product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although not it's original design, we heavily rely on FA as an event management tool. We're able to quickly create registration forms that are pushing accurate data into multiple Salesforce objects including Contacts, Accounts, and Campaigns, instantly. We also Form Assembly to capture internal documentation, mapping into custom Salesforce objects, that allow us to streamline business processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wish I could have rated "Quality of Support" higher! Form Assembly's documentation and customer support are some of the best I have experienced in this space.
Simplest way of collecting data and passing it to various systems.
What do you like best about the product?
Simple form builder UI, flexible with custom CSS and integrates with many of our favorite tools such as Salesforce, Paypal, Webmerge, and more. Ability to build out surveys, lead capture forms, enrollment applications and more securely with minimal effort. Also for healthcare, education and nonprofit organizations, having HIPAA compliance and eSign capabilities can be a massive time saver. Very secure and safe to use. The Salesforce prefill connector is a huge asset to how we FormAssembly. We can create forms in places like Community Cloud and flows and prepopulate data from Salesforce records (such as contacts, leads and users) and have that readily available for our users to fill. Also a huge plus is the lookup and update logic that helps with preventing duplicate records from being created in our instance and makes life easy for our org.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely room for improvement with the connector templates, sometimes complex templates require a lot of thought and effort to build out and pagination could be slow, but FormAssembly is working on improving this process, safe harbor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FormAssembly has been a massive game changer for Salesforce Administrators with the ability to build out surveys, web-to-lead forms, payment collection, and other data capture with minimal effort and coding skills required. As an admin, this comes in handy when building many of our organization's essential business processes and not only simplifying these processes but helping our organization realize its true potential.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend the Premium or Enterprise plans which feature more of the Salesforce integration, such as prefilled forms (which can be used in Communities, email templates and so much more).
Most powerful form builder for Salesforce Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Repeatable sections, calculated fields, conditional integrations, custom CSS, custom JS. I could go on. FormAssembly is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more developer friendly way of styling REST embedded forms. Currently requires a lot of !important designations to overwrite form theme styling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online donations, applications, registration, survey, constituent updates. The flexibility allows quick deployment.
