A GRC Platform to Watch

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to the many of the out-of-the-box features, Vanta's customer support is phenomenal! Regardless of market size, the team is always supportive when issues arise or we can't find the answers we need. Product Feedback is heavily appreciated and is put into future sprints; our team has seen many new features pushed out based upon feedback we've given and this continues to enhance the platform even further.

Ease of use for those who are not familiar with GRC platforms is a huge selling point. Setting up integrations and getting your GRC program up and running makes it incredibly easy for the end user; whether its a seasoned IT professional or a new compliance analyst. Did I also mention they have the HITRUST framework available; out of the box!! No more manually monitoring or logging into MyCSF all the time - a huge time and resource saver that immediately provides ROI for any organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
While we've had some issue with a certain 3rd party integration, Vanta has continued to make themselves and their engineers available to help resolve (even though the issue lies with the other 3rd party and not Vanta). Vanta was able to partner with us and the 3rd party to resolve the issue and ensure bi-directional feed of data from the 2 platforms.

So, dislikes? Hard to account for because they are continually innovating on their product and taking steps to shore up any items that present gaps or discourage an end user from a positive experience when using Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is allowing a small but mighty team to have a holistic view of our overall compliance program and the health of it and its supporting programs and processes. It allows for organizational transparency and reduces the audit fatigue that can occur with technical teams. Clients can easily self-serve any evidentiary objects needed to complete an audit without having additional resources involved. This saves so much time when completing security questionnaires as we can direct clients to the Trust Center to self-serve these objects. While we still receive security questionnaires, anything a client can't glean from the Trust Center is easily tackled in the Vanta Questionnaire Automation, thanks to our beefy knowledge bank and the magic AI on the backend. It's like having 2-3 GRC analysts on hand at all times! At the end of the day, Vanta helped us move from spreadsheets to a centralized location that isn't tamperable and allows for stakeholders to drill into specific metrics and areas to ensure compliance.
