Essential for Compliance Tracking with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Vanta helps us track our compliance status and identify any risk areas where we might need to work on. It's also fantastic that Vanta flags outdated policies, which is very helpful for keeping everything up to date and ensuring we remain compliant with SOC 2 Type 2 protocols. The features that alert us to areas where we aren't compliant yet are particularly valuable. They prompt us to complete security tasks or upload specific forms, which is super helpful for staying on top of compliance issues. Generally, the alerts are a standout feature for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get emails that are just a whole bunch of jargon that are really crowded, and I can't tell what the main point of the email is or what I need to fix on Vanta from the email. So just if the alerts from Vanta were much more clear and more focused, I think alerts are far too frequent, so less more focused alerts that are less frequent would be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us track compliance and identify risk areas, flagging outdated policies for updates to ensure we meet SOC 2 type 2 protocols. The alerts for non-compliance tasks are particularly helpful for maintaining our standards.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the integrations are really awesome. The automation that we can set up with Vanta ensures that all of the tasks we need to do get done with confidence. This makes it much easier to meet our compliance obligations and provides a higher level of trust within our system and to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're continuing to improve the app reviews, which right now is still pretty good, but there's a lot of opportunities to make that even more efficient.

Vanta makes it easier to manage security compliance by streamlining initiatives, reducing time spent, and boosting confidence with its integrations and workflows.
Streamlined Compliance with Some Navigation Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Vanta gives me visibility into our controls and makes customer questionnaires easier to answer. It's really helpful because we get a lot of the same questions from different customers. Having a knowledge base that uses AI to quickly answer these questions speeds up our workflow significantly. At least 80% of our workflow for customer questions has been taken over by AI, saving us a lot of time. I also found the initial setup to be very easy, although there was a learning curve because there were features I didn't know existed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Compliance menus confusing to navigate. For instance, something might be listed as a control for MDM-1 for example and in the control window it will be listed as MDM-1, but if you are in a different window it will be listed as something else in the test menu. There was a learning curve cause there were features that existed that I didn't know existed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps answer customer questions with its knowledge base and keeps us aware of which controls need evidence to maintain compliance. It speeds up our workflow by taking over 80% of customer question handling with AI.
Simplifies Compliance, Builds Customer Trust
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta creates trust with potential customers. The ability to create a publicly facing dashboard is the first and foremost feature I value. Also, behind the scenes, tracking all the different aspects of maintaining SOC 2 compliance is very helpful. It makes sure that our team is accountable to those tasks, which I think is great. Additionally, the initial setup of Vanta is quite easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, the UI seems pretty straightforward, but as you get really granular with all the things for SOC 2 compliance, it gets pretty complex. With all the people in the mix, it's sometimes hard to tell who's truly accountable for getting things done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for compliance and building trust with customers, as it shows our active efforts on achieving SOC 2 compliance. The public dashboard and ability to track compliance tasks are very helpful.
Effortless Compliance with Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like Vanta's easy UI and the progress bar, which make it straightforward to see how far along we are and who owns what. I also find the descriptions of all necessary docs and controls really helpful. It helps keep everything up to date and ready for audits, and lets us know when renewals are due.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to know exactly where missing items sit, like policies. I'd like everything to be available in one tab with all expiration dates and status.

I use Vanta for HIPAA and SOC2 compliance, ensuring everything is up-to-date and audit-ready. It makes tracking ownership and progress easy and helps us know when renewals are due.

Crystal-Clear ISO 27001/9001 Compliance That Makes Audits Calm and Focused
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the clarity it gives me. I can immediately see what’s in place, what’s missing, and what actually needs my attention, without second-guessing or keeping things in my head. That makes a big difference in my day-to-day work on ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. Audits feel calmer, there’s no last-minute evidence chasing, and I can focus on the substance of compliance instead of the logistics around it.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I miss is having ready-made templates for internal audits. The data and evidence are there, but when it comes to structuring an internal audit, a lot still has to be built manually. Having simple, well-structured audit templates to start from would save time and make it easier to turn the available information into something immediately usable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta solves the problem of visibility and coordination in compliance work. Rather than tracking controls and evidence across multiple tools, documents, and people, everything stays in one place and is easy to follow. For me, that reduces uncertainty and the mental overhead in day-to-day work. I don’t have to keep double-checking whether something is missing or whether it’s up to date.
