Vanta Played a very key role in help our org to get SOC2 report.
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta Played a very key role in help our org to get SOC2 report. They not only help with the tools, but the CS team keeps a health check with your org ona. regular basis and help with other 3rd Party vendors like Auditors or security experts to make sure we achieve the desired outcome. Recently the Product UI has improved and made the user experience on the tool better
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that one can say negative about vanta
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keep the Soc2 audit report clean. Vanta also helps us identify vulnerabilities in our system and give the right suggestions to fix them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
vanta not only help is achieving the desired report, but also helps in maintaining the same which make it more simpler to manage

What do you like best about the product?
SoC2 compliance is such a pain, but Vanta makes it so easy. The dashboard to track your progress, the integrations with your cloud services -- awesome stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little confusing, but I don't blame them. Compliance info is hard to make pretty looking, and I think they're doing a great job. Maybe just make it a little less noisy.

SoC2 Type II.
Vanta helped our small startup scale
What do you like best about the product?
As a small company, a lot of our staff wear many hats in the organization. Vanta helped provide a single location of all tasks and items to complete for the audit, but they also aided in policy and document generation for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Before signing up to being the process to get your organization ready for a SOCII audit, it was a bit unclear on what types of things would be required from the business to be in audit compliance. Items that require investment from the company (i.e., devices, password managers, background checks, etc.). It would be good to have at least a roadmap or expected investment guide to plan ahead of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are situating our business to undergo a SOCII audit. We have enjoyed being able to generate policy documents directly in Vanta. For a small company, sometimes these documents did not exist prior, so rather than starting from scratch, Vanta could assist with some pre-defined templates to get going.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take an inventory assessment of your current organization setup and controls to have an idea of the level of effort to orient your business for a SOCII audit
Fantastic for SOC 2 and HIPAA Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
We needed to become compliant quickly and Vanta was a lifesaver. So much easier and faster than any other path we found.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we first signed up in 2020 there were some UI flows that were hard to use. But they have been very receptive to feedback and have made big strides in making the UI easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting compliant for SOC 2 and HIPAA

What do you like best about the product?
At Sleuth, we found Vanta to be an amazingly straight-forward way to pursue our SOC2. If you're running a SaaS business like ours, Vanta's integrations with AWS, Google, and all our other providers meant that performing control checks was automated and easy. We were anticipating many months of work to get our SOC2, and Vanta cut down our expected effort by an order of magnitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't remember having any complaints, everything seemed great. The team was very supportive and responsive, and we've had an excellent experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary goal was seeking a SOC2 for our customers, however we discovered a number of benefits in terms of ongoing security review automation and policy templates that made scaling the HR side super easy.
Excellent software, great services, and continual additions of new features
What do you like best about the product?
What's not to love? SOC II audits are brutal without a system like this - it's inconceivable that people worked through these enormous audits without a system to track progress and share metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that Vanta connected with Zenefits for pulling in background checks. The new Workspace One integration also needs some love.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a tasklist that updates automatically is a lifesaver - both in terms of time and money (that would otherwise be spent paying auditors to manually compile / chase info).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unless you enjoy excruciatingly manual audits, add Vanta to the mix and make SOC II fun.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta allows you to fully automate your security monitoring and get you ready for security audits in few months. Their Customer Success team is exemplary, keeping a regular health check of your compliance program with frequent updates and weekly action items to make sure you are up to speed with your compliance activities.
They keep adding new features, capabilities to the system enhancing the user experience.
The system is intelligent and keeps you informed of the pending tests, new tasks, and provides useful reporting tools for your internal follow-ups.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I can think of that I dislike about Vanta. The whole experience from sales to onboarding and weekly progress meetings with their Customer Success team is awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to get ready for our SOC 2 audit in the best and most efficient way possible and luckily our paths crossed with Vanta. Vanta not only provided us with the best-in-class automated compliance monitoring tool but also helped us connect with top-notch audit firms.

Vanta is a highly recommended tool to automate your security and compliance monitoring. The tool integrates with your existing systems and keeps you updated on your completed, pending, and upcoming tasks. A relatively new feature is the provision of automated audit reports based on the controls already implemented that you can share with your clients.
Once you have experienced Vanta, you will not think of any other tool to improve your security compliance.

The seamless SOC2 certification process and excellent customer service.

Provide more explicit instructions about what needs to improve.

Vanta makes compliance possible for companies that don't have a dedicated CISO.

Take full advantage of Vanta's customer success team -- it's been a pleasure working with them.

What do you like best about the product?
One place to track everything that auditors know how to use and accept for SOC II compliance that isn't a manually-intensive excel sheet.

There is currently a limited number of integrations that they have available which means there is still some manual things to track.

SOC II Compliance and the amount of time it takes our team to handle compliance.

Automates so much of the process away and integrates with most of the startup tool-stack. Would definitely recommend.
Easy to use

We wanted get SOC2 compliant and Vanta made it super easy to get set. Not only was everything set but their communication was top notch and fast.

Nothing yet! We honestly have not had any feed back as of today.

We wanted to be SOC2 compliant and also have a way to monitor our devices. Vanta has helped us do both!
