One of the best SOC2 platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and intuitive design, comprehensive yet user-friendly and the support team is super responsive. Above all, the integration was simple my team loved it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Great experience overall, no complains. My team is happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is assisting us through the SOC2 certification process and helping us stay compliant. I cant imagine doing this on our own based on the time, effort and resources this process would have consumed. For us, Vanta brings the required structure, documentation support, SOC2 readiness based on platform integration and helping us stay compliant through the integration.
Vants is a great product for our company's compliance needs.
What do you like best about the product?
The main things I like about Vanta are the ease of implementation and use, wide availability of available product integrations, GUI that's easy to navigate, responsive and helpful technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience with Vanta thus far, I have not encounterd anything that would cause me to dislike or consider switching away from this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Vanta we are able to achieve the mandatory SOC 2 compliance status through a series of easy to navigate, almost step by step instructions. The product also allows us to continuously monitor our compliance status, alerts us regarding any deviations, and provides visibility into issues that need to be addressed.
Good software and does an excellent job of finding vulnerabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Very good at finding vulnerabilities and guiding you through the document collecting and requirements for the chosen compliance frameworks (we do HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2). Support was rarely required (only two tickets in 18 months) and they were quick to get resolutions. The product is simple to use and implementation was painless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to do with Vanta. We were unable to assign the necessary resources to preparing for the audit. But Vanta got us a long way through the process. Do not underestimate the readiness tasks and be sure to allocate the necessary resources.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have urgent customer requests to maintain SOC2 and GDPR compliance on an ongoing basis. Vanta helped us in not only gaining compliance but in our ability to demonstrate it.

Vanta is an excellent tool for simplifying compliance processes. Its intuitive interface and comprehensive features make it easy for teams to manage and track their compliance efforts effectively. The real-time monitoring capabilities provide valuable insights, enables proactive risk management.

Despite its promising features, Vanta lacks some customization options that are essential for tailoring the tool to specific organizational needs.
The reporting functionality, while adequate, could be more robust, with more advanced analytics capabilities. Furthermore, the pricing structure can be prohibitive for smaller businesses, limiting accessibility to valuable compliance tools. Improved scalability options and more transparent pricing models would enhance the overall user experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta solves the complex challenges of compliance management by automating processes, providing real-time monitoring, and simplifying audit procedures. By using Vanta, we benefit from streamlined compliance efforts, enhanced security posture, simplified audits, increased customer trust, and overall reduced compliance risk, ultimately safeguarding our business, avoiding fines, and maintaining a competitive edge.
SOC2 Compliance with real-time system indicators
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the security and compliance posture are effected by real-time feedback from the linked integrattion, for example Google Cloud Platform vulnerability scanning is reported within Vanta for any issue identified and it allows the creation and assignment of tasks on our Atlassian jira board. The time to solve the issue is calculated within the response time of the SLA set within Vanta Configurations, allowing us to keep an eye on our response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have requested support for SentinelOne around 1 year ago, and are still waiting on an integration to be released to allow us to unify our security posture beyound the MDM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are typically choosing products to add to our technology stack that is already integrated within Vanta, as such it is making it much easier to maintain an active audit on access managment as well as meet our compliance requirements to launch products in new markets.
Compliance tool that saves me a lot of time
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the integrations and the ability to save documents for the auditors. My first time configuring the software was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations are great, until they break. So there is continual maintenance involved. But I can say that trying to manage compliance without such a tool is much harder.

Vanta helps us get ready for audits, share evidence with the auditors, and maintain compliance ongoing.
Easy SOC2 implementation with Vanta's great user experience
What do you like best about the product?
We're using Vanta to gain SOC2 certificate and so far it is awesome experience. Everything is simply organized into different types of "objects" such as controls, tests, policies and documents. It has its own MDM that satisfies our needs. Other modules such as Vulnerabilities, Risk management, Vendors, Access control and Inventory are very useful and work as intended.
It has most of integrations we needed in order to implement SOC2.
So far we thinks Vanta made our process of achieving certificate quite fast and simple.

Not much I can complain about, few bugs but they were resolved in reasonable time.

We are getting and maintaining SOC2 certificate via Vanta.

Vanta for SOC 2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
During our initial readiness, we estimated that we used about 800 hours total from start to finish. With using Vanta, we were able to establish our control set, policies, and tests in about 40 hours total. Moving forward, maintaining compliance and validating that compliance in an automated fashion is going to save us hundreds of hours per year.

The ability to automatically import established policies.
