Complete solution for SOC 2 test and compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Vanta automates the compliance process. It takes care of the tedious tasks involved in preparing for SOC 2 audit. The platform integrates well with the tools we already use, which makes everything easier. Plus, their customer support is friendly and quick to help when we have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I feel that Vanta can be a bit expensive, especially for smaller teams. Also, it took us a little time to get familiar with all the features. I wish some parts were more customizable to fit our specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us tackle the challenges of security compliance and audit management by automating many of the manual processes involved. It helps on our preparations for SOC 2 audit, saving us a lot of time and reducing the risk of errors. For vendor management and third-party risk management, Vanta provides continuous monitoring, which gives us peace of mind about the security practices of our suppliers. Overall, it simplifies complex compliance tasks and lets us focus more on our core business activities.
Great Auditing Site!
What do you like best about the product?
All the tests, compliance, vendors, and audits we need are easily laid out with plenty of detail explaining each part and great guidance on how to complete them.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few integrations have not worked as intended or don't have a way to sync the vendor, but it's not much of a hassle if you import People/Users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to be prepared for SOC2 Type II compliance as well as HIPAA
Effective & User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It's super user-friendly. With us working on ISO compliance and SOC compliance for the first time - we would've been lost without Vanta

Some options are limited when it comes to users/accounts

Centralizing and making our compliance efforts for efficient. No more messy spreadsheets and missed action items

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is simple, easy to use and implement, and has a robust feature set. It integrated nicely with our existing workflow. I use it weekly, and I've never had any issues that required the intervention of customer support.

I have no negative feedback to offer about Vanta. It meets all of my needs nicely

Vanta tracks our compliance excellently, which is amazing given our complicated workflow
Seemless soc-2 experience
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta was super easy to set up and integrate with all our providers. Vanta recommended a soc-2 auditor who leveraged the Vanta platform to make the entire process seemless and quick!
What do you dislike about the product?
We did not know some documents were needed to be uploaded during the audit window so we had to upload some files twice. Other than than minor issue Vanta was perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabled us to quickly and effeciently achieve soc-2 type 2 compliance.
Quick, accurate and all-encompassing compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly it updates, whether that's a latent security vulnerability in a UI code repository or some AWS change needed for compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it sometimes takes a little bit for the refresh button to kick in after you've fixed the issue at hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us quickly patch security vulnerabilities in Docker images and UI codebases. It also ensures that we regularly rotate our AWS access keys and maintain good CloudWatch alarms for our Lambdas. Overall, it helps us stay on our game to ensure the health of our entire stack.
Vanta for SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to understand what needs to be done and when. A lot of integrations for all of the standard platforms, and does a lot of the legwork for you. The AI chat bot is also very good. Having never done anything like this before, I thought I would need more support but I didn't in the end as it was so well done. Great for keeping on top of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tasks which could be fleshed out a bit more with examples

What do you like best about the product?
It made ISO27001 certification a lot, lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite expensive. The GDPR framework appeared not to be really worth the money. ISO27001 is, though.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a true force multiplier - it allows us to do a lot with far less manpower. There are endless integrations so it is quite easy to monitor all of our services. As well, they do a really good job of onboarding the user and providing examples and templates to where it made our SOC 2 journey very easy. Any time we have had issues, the support has been very knowledgeable and prompt.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems that most new functionality is locked behind paywalls which can be frustrating for smaller companies like zu that don't necessarily have the budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta allows us to easily stay compliant with SOC 2! It provides insight into our services, users, and assets, ensuring they are as secure as they can be.
Platform is exceptional. Sell process is aggressive.

The platform just gives you everything you need. Nothing manual.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to the audit process everything is not with Vanta. Their partner that helps with document with a free VIP is not the best. It's a VIP but you feel the opposite. Even the pen test is not as was sold to us. Only one domain.
