Simplify collection, storage and responses to just the related PCI-DSS or SOC2 data needed
What do you like best about the product?
Single Source of Data, Forms, Documents well organized and used by all involved in teh PCI-DSS and SOC2 process. Year Two should be easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
No Issues so far, we found that all partners know about Vanta.

great platform, easy to use and integration, responsive and knowledge support team to walk you through.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has nothing to do with Vanta, it is the nature of this process, I don't like exposing our platform to any third party platforms, even it is meta data.

They nickel and dime, much more than their competitors. But are willing to lower their price if you're price sensitive. So not actually more expenisve

SOC II compliance
Very good pricing for a small web agency and good onboarding.
What do you like best about the product?
I like their pricing and the initial sales call was very informative and to the point.

We are in the in between stage right now [between VIOLEX and the audit group] and we feel a bit lost.

SOC II compliance that we require to have to be able to sell hosting and web development to banks.

What do you like best about the product?
You get a well-structured format for your compliance journey. It's quite easy to use with a ton of documentation to get you started. The platform is easy to understand and the team is very helpful with answering questions.
The most used features for us have been policy creation, tracking onboarding /offboarding of employees, Vanta's in-built MDM, and pulling of automated tests.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not exactly a downside, but the addition of new tests can take you by surprise sometimes. Especially if you are not checking the dashboard every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is automating most of the manual data collection for our SOC2 Type II compliance. It makes it easier to record and keep proofs for the auditors to review, as well as alert us within SLA for any outstanding gaps in our compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and comprehensive tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is a bit hight but it is still manageable

Cost is not cheap, some frameworks have lots of overlap but we get charged quite a bit for those minor new additions

hipaa and soc 2 compliance.
Nice evolving platform, saves a lot of time for a CISO.

People monitoring, automation of of a lot of different tasks in particular with all integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Impossible to manage with a non-Vanta auditor.

Automate our control plan for ISO27001 and ISO27701
More intuitive than competitors I've used
What do you like best about the product?
We were using a competitor before but never really did understand how to use it properly. Vanta is much more intoitive and claear in how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a pre-revenue startup it is a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're enterprise SaaS, so we need to be SOC2 and GDPR compliant, Vanta is helping with getting the nessesary policies and security measures in place.
