Efficient way to level up your InfoSec compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
The Vanta platform is very intuitive and you're guided through the needed compliance structures for whatever framework you've signed up for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have anything specific here. Very excited to be working with Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Vanta to help us speed up compliance with ISO27001 & SOC 2 frameworks.

Not able to mark Control as N/A. The only option is deactivating , which is sometimes confusing

We are having SOC2 Audit first time and we are leveraging Vanta for all our evidence collection and it realy helps speed up the process if you are going for any audit

Has a very logical and inline layout. Simple language with lots of help and tips.

Not all menus and options are easy to find.

We needed a tool to help us get SOCII compliant. Vanta has the tool, the integration and also the auditors available.

What do you like best about the product?
The knowledge around compliance, security, policies and best practices to attain compliance and certifications is vast and most of the time... you don't know what you don't know. Vanta has provided us with all the information in a straight forward and easy to follow guide of what we need to implement and change to attain difference compliances and the steps so we can be in the best position for certification. Additionally the trust center provides our customers with peace of mind that we are doing our utmost to be secure so their data is safe with us. Setting up Vanta is extremely especially with their guided steps and we reached GDPR compliance in 3 weeks with what would have taken us approximately 6 months of learning and building.
As we onboard new employees Vanta is constantly alerting me of the steps needed to maintain our compliance so I spend many days checking into Vanta to sure we do not fall behind. The number of integrations are vast as well.
Customer Support is always helpful as well and have been extremely responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no standout dislike. Like any new product finding your way around is not always easy but that may be due to the vast features of Vanta.
They do not have all the integrations we require yet but they are slowly adding continuously.

One stop shop for Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Keeping everything you need for SOC-2 in one place. Being able to proceduarly work through test cases and make progress. Easily able to create polices to meet the needs of requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little disorienting with how much there is to explore and do. It's all good features, just can be difficult to know what you need to dow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is solving our Security and Compliance needs. Our company is small, and needing to achieve SOC-2 compliance and Vanta makes this process far simpler than doing it on our own.

A clear and concise list of tests that need to be fixed, and how to remediate

Some fixing instructions are outdated, difficult to understand how to set a default owner for new failing tests by resource type

Getting a SOC2 certificate

What do you like best about the product?
It has more automated tests than every alternative we tried. It integrates with the most amount of tools we used. It has a clean, modern design. Most importantly, it has a great customer service team, ready to help out within hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little expensive for very early stage startups. We found it worth the price.

Maybe a little organization and notifications, but it's just a matter of having everything correct and under control.

great UI and a large number of available integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionalities are not available in the by default and have to be purchased additionally.

Vanta is helping us to streamline our security & compliance efforts and automated a lot of our tasks, ultimately saving us money in the long term.
