What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta makes compliance and security management simple by automating evidence collection and monitoring in real time. It saves a lot of time and manual effort. I have more clear visibility into the organization’s security than ever before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Vanta’s integrations can be a bit rigid, requiring manual adjustments when tools or configurations change. It also feels like the simplicity is acquired at the cost of security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps automate security and audit management by continuously monitoring controls, collecting evidence, and ensuring compliance with standards like SOC 2 and Hipaa. This reduces the time and stress of audit preparation while improving overall security visibility and trust with clients.

The amount of custom integrations that you guys have and the ability to write you own with your own tests

We were having trouble getting custom integrations to show up in inventory and just have to rely on the test to see what is included

Vanta Made ISO 27001 Compliance Effortless with Great Templates and Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Our business used Vanta to achieve ISO 27001 compliance in the UK. We made good use of Vanta's extensive library of ISO templates and policies, along with its integration feature, which helped us manage our vendors and maintain ongoing compliance. So far, we have recommended Vanta to two other companies that were searching for a compliance tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I can't think of anything to mention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, managing compliance meant juggling numerous spreadsheets, word documents, and extensive vendor tracking. With Vanta, all of these processes were centralised, and the platform integrated smoothly with our existing tools, allowing for automated compliance testing. Thanks to Vanta, we were able to achieve ISO 27001 certification in just six weeks, a process that had previously taken us up to six months.
Simple Custom Tests, But Limited Flexibility for Advanced Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
the fact that is simple and that allows you to create some custom tests to check compliance.
also customer support is great, they allowed us to test the CIS extra framework.

The fact that customs tests are limited, you can't just get all the paramiters and you cant simulate the CIS like other frameworks allow it to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate the integration features, especially how the tool centralises security compliance. It’s convenient to be able to check both CIS and ISO frameworks directly from the same platform.

The help menu is lacking an AI and it can be tedious to go to a knowledge base article etc all the time

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta provides excellent automation and visibility into our compliance program. I like how easily it integrates with our existing tools, like AWS, Azure AD, Google Workspace, and Jira, to continuously monitor controls and evidence. The dashboard is clean and intuitive, making it simple to track audit readiness and identify any gaps proactively. It saves a huge amount of manual effort during SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, and the reminders for control ownership and evidence collection are especially helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the integrations can take a bit of troubleshooting, especially for custom or nonstandard setups. Some notifications and evidence reminders could be more flexible in scheduling, and the initial onboarding requires guidance to configure everything optimally. However, the support team is responsive and helps resolve issues quickly.

Vanta helps us automate compliance management, streamline evidence collection, and maintain continuous audit readiness for SOC 2 and ISO 27001. It has significantly reduced manual tracking, improved collaboration between security and engineering teams, and enhanced visibility for leadership on our compliance status. Overall, it has made the audit process faster, more transparent, and far less time-consuming.
