Good software for SOC 2 Type II
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it keeps all of my SOC2 items in one place. When there are issues, Vanta gives us instructions on how to fix the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't integrate with everything we had hoped it would. This is pretty minimal, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we started our SOC2 journey, we were doing everything manually with many different people in many different locations. Now three people can manage the entire process from one centralized platform. There is no way we could have done it without Vanta or a similar platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations with Vanta didn't worked as espected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to obtain our SOC2 Type II certification!
SOC2 Compliance turned into common sense
What do you like best about the product?
They make it really easy to understand what you need to do to become compliant but they also teach you about those steps as well. Also, their support team is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on what I was expecting, there have been no downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to become SOC2 and HIPAA compliant.
Vanta is a robust compliance tool
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time monitoring, vulnerability detection, actionable insights, comprehensive reporting, integration capabilities, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance workflow automation. Great support from the Vanta team and uick response. Makes it really efficient with all the integrations available.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I can think of, everything is great, from the UI to the product itself

Vanta is helpful for organizing and monitoring compliance projects, especially for SOC 2 and PCI
Great and simple product
What do you like best about the product?
Made compliance setup and monitoring easy. We could very clearly see what was missing and what we needed to do. Finally, the easy to adopt policy templates were great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need even more policy templates. Besides that maybe some way to set up reminders for tasks

Incredible platform. Makes the difficult and tedious easy.

Vanta has helped us achieve our certification goals. Being certified helps a lot in the sales process.
Simple, clean and to the point. Security compliance made simple.
What do you like best about the product?
Tells me what needs to be done to meet compliance with direct action items, continuously monitors and updates me when things fail. Auto discovery!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using the new access review tool, which is good, but it would be amazing if it could deprovision users via the interface instead of manually providing evidence.

Maintaing SOC 2 and working with an auditor, third party security review and monitoring, access reviews
Great way to get compliant and improve operational maturity
What do you like best about the product?
We found that not only was it great at getting our SOC 2 but it really helped us improve as an org on our security processes and operational maturity for dealing with things like employee management and vendor assessments.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're trying to introduce paid product "add-ons" like vendor risk management which is annoying because having to evaluate each product add-on vs alternative tools in terms of pricing and functionality is a barrier to full adoption of the platform.

Making the process of getting cyber compliant super easy.
Exceptional Product and Superlative Team
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations and automation. The seamless integration with our infrastructure makes monitoring and compliance infinitely easier than alternative solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing compliance and status with customers (via the Trust Center) is quite expensive. Too expensive for startups who probably could most benefit from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling SOC2 security compliance both for Type 1 and Type 2 which minimizes the time sales teams have to spend filling out Infosec questionnaires.
Continuous compliance monitoring with automated deviation detections
What do you like best about the product?
Translalting the framework controls into actionable items, monitoring the compliance and allowing to quickly remediate any defficiencies. Controls will detect if something that was fully compliant in the past needs to addressed again, due to changes in workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and audit logs are rudimentary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor discovery and a central repository for tracking third party security and compliance simplyfied the process and reduced significantly the manual work. AI assisted documents review is an additional benefit.
