What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support challenges: Users frequently report difficulties reaching Vanta's support, absence of direct contact methods (like phone numbers), and slow or unsatisfactory resolution processes. There have also been complaints about issues with billing (such as unauthorized charges and difficult cancellation procedures due to strict contract clauses)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated Evidence Collection: Vanta automates the tracking and collection of proof from integrated systems (such as AWS, Okta, GitHub, and endpoints), dramatically reducing manual effort and human error in audit preparation.
Vanta Makes Security Work Simple and Fast
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta watches our systems all the time and tells me if something is wrong. It does many checks by itself, so I don’t have to do everything manually. It makes tough security tasks feel much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some settings are not easy to change and I need extra time to figure them out. A few tools don’t connect perfectly on the first try.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps me keep our security strong without doing boring, repeated tasks. It shows clear alerts, so I fix problems before they get big. Now I spend less time on checks and more time improving our systems.

Vanta is very Ease of Use, implementation is very user friendly, Its customer support is also great, Integration part is ease

It is comparatively costly also when signed up the code typing part did not show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps track of all the security issues and so I don't have to bother that.

What I like best about Vanta is how it streamlines compliance and audit prep without requiring deep expertise. It is user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the Vanta gives false positive that the screenlock is not enabled on the device though it has the screen lock enabled for 60 mins.. but its rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to work on soc2 compliance and once it is ready we can onboard external auditors easily.

Teleporting us from small business to enterprise grade compliance policies and procedures, given our very small team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to be able to view documents in review rather than having to edit them.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Vanta every day to maintain SOC 2 controls and keep track of ongoing tests in one centralised dashboard. The Customer Trust section is particularly valuable for consolidating and automating responses to third-party questionnaires. Moreover, the AI-driven question-answer feature not only provides detailed answers but also cites the relevant documented evidence, which makes the entire third-party risk assessment process remarkably quick and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the web interface can be slow to load—especially when applying filters to search results—which can momentarily disrupt my workflow. However, these minor performance issues do not outweigh the substantial compliance-management benefits Vanta delivers overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us stay continuously compliant with SOC 2 by automating control monitoring and centralising evidence collection. It also simplifies third-party risk assessments through AI-generated responses backed by documented proof, saving time and improving accuracy.

Sometimes loading times can be a little slow.

Vanta is solving the problem of fragmented, manual, and often overwhelming compliance management. Before Vanta, tracking audit readiness, security controls, and policy adherence was time-consuming and heavily reliant on spreadsheets, screenshots, and scattered documentation.
With Vanta, we now have a centralised platform that automates evidence collection, monitors key systems continuously, and highlights risks in real time. This dramatically reduces the time and effort needed to maintain SOC 2 compliance and helps us stay audit-ready without the last-minute scramble.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI/UX is fantastic, customer support is always available and super helpful, the documentation makes everything easy to follow, setup for frameworks and notifications is a breeze, and Slack integration works flawlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not have integration set with Heroku. it's annoying to post the MFA screenshots every 3 months. Also the fact that need to get 3rd party certificated manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be SOC2 compliant and it helped us be that, we will now utilize the gdpr and Hippa framework to get compliant on same.
Makes HIPAA compliance easier than I could have imagined
What do you like best about the product?
As an Engineering leader, Vanta makes it easy to figure out which Tests I need to take action on, why they're important, and exactly how to fix them. It really goes above and beyond.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing I can say that I dislike about Vanta.
