Organised and operational ISMS
What do you like best about the product?
One eco-system to manage compliance frameworks, especially where technical elements are involved. The integrations are powerful, and the platform is regularly updated with new features. The support for the product is excellent, and even though we’ve only been a customer for a short period of time we’ve been given access to BETA areas of the system and given the opportunity to shape how the product is designed going forwards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of tiered access to SaaS platforms which locks certain features. I would prefer a pricing model that considers user base count exclusively, which would allow the platform to be a little more accessible to smaller organisations who have a clear need for a well-constructed and connected ISMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is allowing us to manage multiple compliance frameworks and achieve a level of automation. Collecting evidence which can be shared across multiple frameworks is highly advantageous.

Vanta is great because it shows me if my team is doing things the right way. It helps us follow the rules and not forget stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the setup part takes too long and I wish it was quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us stay ready for audits and keeps our team from making mistakes. It saves time and makes our work feel more organized.
Like a Safety Robot for Our Work
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta checks all our computer stuff like a robot with big eyes. It finds the small problems before they grow big. That makes me feel relaxed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It asks us to upload too many papers sometimes. Feels like homework that never ends. But we still get through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us follow safety rules for tech stuff. Now we don’t miss anything important. It keeps our team from making big mistakes.

What do you like best about the product?
Very neat and user friendly. Allowed our company to stay on top of compliance needs without needing to hire a new team. Connected very well with out systems. I check it about everyday to make sure we are up to date and everything is squared off.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it went more in depth on how to stop tests from continuing to fail. I also wish there were more customization options on the home screen. So things can be tailored to my specific use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me easily take care of security risks and notifies me instead of me needs to hunt for them in microsoft.
Vanta Makes My Compliance Work Way Simpler
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta shows what’s done and what’s still left to do, like a checklist. It helps me follow rules without needing to ask others all the time. Everything feels clear and neat, which I really like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get alerts that feel too tiny to worry about. It would be nicer if I could change more things my way. And a few tasks are still a bit slow to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes it easier to keep our company on the right track. It saves me from digging through emails and folders for proof. Now I can do my job faster and help others understand what’s needed too.
Great for Commercial, Still in Progress for Federal
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has a great user interface that makes working on daily audit framework tasks (uploading policies, evidence, etc.) much easier and navigable than competitors.
Getting started with the platform is also easier than most, since the user only needs to select their security framework of choice and the controls are pre-populated. What's also really useful is the availability to reuse evidence from one framework to another, without having to re-upload or re-request the information from the team that provided it.
Our team has made use of customer support frequently, who have been helpful, knowledgeable, and able to answer nearly all of our questions right away. For those which they don't immediately know, they usually take less than a week to answer.
Compared to other vendors, I would rank Vanta amongst the easiest to use and collaborate with a team on.

What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, Vanta is not FedRAMP certified, but is going for an ATO level of 'Low'. While a good idea to become ATO, most companies who are working with federal customers are either 'Moderate' or 'High'. I would encourage the Vanta team to continue with FedRAMP certification beyond simply the self-certifying first level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Vanta to maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO, and other security frameworks which require ongoing engagement.
Decent tool for the job
What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive and easy to use. The UI is clean and it does the job it is supposed to.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta keeps all our compliance tasks in one place. It shows what needs fixing with simple steps, so my team never gets confused. It saves time and makes audits feel much less scary.

Some custom rules take extra clicks to set up. A few parts feel a little strict and could be more flexible. It takes a bit of time to learn everything at the start.

Setting it up took more time than I thought. Some parts feel a bit strict and I wish I could change them faster. The price could be better for smaller teams.
