The policy templates and how to upload them and have employees sign off on them.

That it does not sync with notion.

Solving that we need to be SOC2 compliant. Working on securing out networks and solidifying our onboarding/offboarding policies.

Excellent, automated, and friendly onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
We can see all of our HIPAA compliance tasks in one place, which makes our lives easier when it comes to self attestation and external review. We use it to keep many of our moving parts in check (AWS, JIRA, Slack)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a little hard to navigate the UI, particularly when finding our connections, or vulnerabilities in our AWS deployments (which are not listed as a n outstanding task in the main page)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting towards our HIPAA compliance, which is reducing our need to manually gather evidence for dozens of different policies and HIPAA legislation points.
Vanta onboarding and rollout was very user friendly

Our rep was very helpful in guiding us through the process

Nothing! Been a smooth rollout for us so far!

Making sure that we are HIPAA compliance and are onboarding new employees in a scalable manner

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely quick process and a pre-vetted network of auditors to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auditors were a bit slow to respond, but not so much Vanta's fault.

Their platform makes it easy to prepare for the audit and their customer success team is excellent

Great, seamless to use, platform
What do you like best about the product?
The platform was very well organized and helped our team move through our SOC2 audit in a very meticulous way. Vanta saved us countless hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still aspects that have not been fine-tuned, such as data exports that caused for some manual input.

Managing and organizing all aspects of a SOC2 audit.
Automate the sticky parts of SOC
What do you like best about the product?
Automation of access controls. Vanta provides an excellent platform with integrations to the tools my team uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta's tests can be a bit mysterious sometimes, and their agent for employee workstations can be demanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes it very easy to bootstrap and execute a compliance program without hiring additional staff.
Solid Platform, Could Use More Guidance

Having all of your compliance needs in a single platform is immensely helpful to smaller companies looking to obtain compliance certificaitons.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of guidance and direction on what is important, what needs to be done first and foremost, etc.

Help guide our compliance audits for SOC 2. The benefits we saw came from having everything in one place.

Some platform features are hard to find or hard to disable

Continuous security monitoring after security audits.

Easy web portal and responsive representatives who can walk you through what you need to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales process where you need to sign up to talk to a sales rep is not the greatest. It should be more self-service and the pricing (including startup discounts) should be clear.
