What do you like best about the product?
The highly effective way the Vanta platform presents the organization's real-time compliance posture to every employee within it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of automated or semi-automated notifications that would be delivered to the owners of distinct non-compliant inventory assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Establishes real-time visibility on the effectiveness of individual controls that were put in place to harden CUJO AI products, increase the resilience of the services built on their basis and security of the underlying infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
We are a small company, and Vanta's integrations make it much easier for us to track our progress towards SOC II compliance. We haven't worked with their competitors, but Vanta has met our needs so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a little unclear exactly what's required and what is optional for SOC II. Also it'd be great to have an integration with Apple Business Essentials for device management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is enabling us to track our progress towards SOC II compliance, which is critical for us to achieve in order to be able to sell to large tech organizations who require their vendors to be compliant with SOC II
Vanta were invaluable to us achieving ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II accreditation
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy integrations with the tools we already use (Google Workspace, GitHub, Jira, AWS, etc) allowed us to get up and running with minimal effort, and have a good overview of the work that would be needed in order to achieve an accrediation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Current system of having a dedicated owner of each asset doesn't always make sense when talking about serverless resources. It would be good it some of this data could be pulled in automatically from the infrastructure provider
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us to quickly acheive ISO27001 and SOC 2 Type II accreditations with a small team that had not worked on either accreditation previously.
Vanta removes complexity and effort from SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
There are 3 things that are amazing: ability to automate laborious tasks, provide templates for cumbersome document creation, ongoing monitoring of test compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta continues to add integrations, but this is to be expected. Sometimes it's a little confusing to navigate between tests, uploaded evidence, documents, and so many of the other artifacts - however, I've already seen continuous improvement in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta handles many mundane activities necessary to complete the SOC 2 certification process. Doing this frees my team and me to focus on building our business by building the things that only we can build and majorly saves on opportunity cost.
Smooth and seamless onboarding experience
What do you like best about the product?
The entire Vanta team has been extremely helpful throughout the onboarding process. From first email to continued check-ins, everyone involved has taken the time to offer tailored advice and guidance to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There haven't been any downsides so far! The only potential downside would be that the PaaS vendor we use to host our infrastructure does not yet have a supported integration through Vanta. However, my implementation manager has taken the time to flag this as a request to the rest of the engineering team and has been very transparent about how this is being prioritized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is chiefly addressing security compliance problems, both for our systems and vendors. Our industry requires strict adherence to certain compliance standards, and customers are particularly sensitive to any vulnerabilities due to past breaches by other vendors in the space. Vanta's automated monitors and controls are an immeasurable benefit in finding, prioritizing, and addressing vulnerabilities.
Easy to stay compliant
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to stay compliant with Vanta on guard! They notify you with any problems, and the help desk is extremely helpful if anything arises!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not say there is anything I have experienced with Vanta that their help team has been unable to fix or help with.

Vanta helps our company stay compliant and stream lines the process with ease.
SOC 2 hassle with customer success manager & billing who doesn't care and dodges email
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta software allows you to connect your various systems internally so it can collect data and evidence needed for a SOC 2. The dashboard is then used by the auditor to perform the SOC 2 audit once the observation period is over. We were able to get our SOC 2 but only after a year of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is absolutely terrible. The problem that we had with Vanta is our customer success rep never contacted us 60 days prior to renewal of our 1 year contract, so the contract never auto-renewed because we also never had the chance to have that conversation. The free month that was promised to us also was never provided per the billing statements that we have. Instead, after the renewal date had passed by a month, the account manager tried reaching out to us to try and have us renew at the SAME PRICE (which compared to other competitors is overpriced by about 80-100%) and have the contract backdated to last year and tried to provide the free month which was never provided in year 1 yet contractually obligated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta was solving the problem of a SOC 2 certification which is needed with various companies when selling our solution into the organization.
Great onboarding, great product
What do you like best about the product?
Compliance and security is made easy. Vanta also helps us get our security cetifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, the onboarding is smooth.
