What do you like best about the product?
Vanta checks the box for compliance and risk in a simple way to understand and gives you real-time of where you are failing your security and compliance policies and standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like formal training and/or set-up support (hands-on working sessions to set up the system using best practices)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the company compliant for our SOC2 type2 audit with supporting evidence and identifying where work is needed to stay complian.
Vanta helps make SOC 2 easy
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy user interface to work with. There's a ton of templates built in that help us get documentation ready for our Type 1 audit. And the CSM/auditors are knowledgable about both the process and platform to answer all questions we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not all that much. There's a lot of requirements to SOC 2 which is a pain to deal with, but that's not on Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is getting us SOC 2 compliant - this allows us to have a higher level of data security for our customer data, which opens more doors for the company on potential customers.

Spot-on for our ISO 27001 compliance journey
What do you like best about the product?
It is not just the product in itself it is also about the support and guidance you get from the Vanta team! Their understanding how to address ISO 27001 and now SOC 2 has made us do this cheaper and faster than the traditional approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks that affect ways of working and the ownership of assets that are in scope for the certifications. Some findings should be easier to assign to the actual owner of the asset that needs to be fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It continuously assesses our compliance like a "live" Information Security Management System (ISMS) and relieves us from the manual follow ups and documentation that used to fill endless spreadsheets without any situational awareness.

What do you like best about the product?
Their amazing staff has made it easy for us to onboard this solutions. We're now organizing all of our ISO requirements (27001 & 27701) in one centrilized location!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not identified any real downsides of Vanta. The only thing we wish we could do was link our Vulnerability Scanning tool to the platform (Tenable IO, CS,& WAS).

We had files and policies EVERYWHERE.

Making SOC2 easy
What do you like best about the product?
This is my first go around with SOC2 and Vanta has made it pretty straightforward.

What do you dislike about Vanta? No complaints so far.

Helping navigate SOC2 requirements.
Vanta helped us become SOC 2 compliant in less than 6 months!

I liked that Vanta provided templates for various policies that we were able to easily customize for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta did not include some of the applications that we use for possible integration.

Easiest way to become compliant
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes becoming SOC2, GDRP or HIPAA compliant a breeze. Most of the software is highly intuitive and if you need help your customer service representative is there to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of competition that came in after they saw the success of Vanta. As a result they don't show their pricing on their website, which makes it a bit less transparent. I understand why they do that. All in all they were/are easy and pleasant to work with and their product is awesome. I highly recommend!
