The policy template editor is slow on firefox (but it's really really minor)

What do you like best about the product?
I’m impressed by the simplicity and smoothness of the Vanya platform. Everything is pretty easy to understand and the templates are useful.

I'd like even more automation to solve issues that come up.

Vanta gathers all the requirements to simple and clear dashboard - it is easy to follow the progress!

AWS integration was not as simple as we expected initially, and eventually we were not able to integrate Vanta to our AWS environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to be PCI DSS compliant, thus Vanta provides us with overview of the progress.

- Templates: We had a lot of policies and did not utilize Vanta's templates but they were great as a cross-reference to make sure we had all areas covered
- Monitors: Make it easy to keep up with tasks before they become an issue
- On a tight deadline and having everything organized made it easy to make sure we were ready to begin our audit window

What do you dislike about the product?
- It's pretty expensive
- There were not integrations available for a lot of products we use
- Targeted more towards organizations that exist entirely in the cloud, leaving some holes for anyone with primarily on-premise infrastructure

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has helped us ensure we had all our bases covered when heading into a SOC2 audit. It helps to decipher the compliance requirements that could take weeks to months in some cases to go through.
My experience with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has helped us a lot to keep our compliance controls up to date, it has made it easy to get reports for clients and we have felt good companionship with any questions or support required when we have new developments, I would definitely recommend this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment I don't dislike anything, I would only recommend to have more support for another language such as Spanish for example.

Vanta is not assisting with maintaining and obtaining our safety compliance certifications.
From service to implementation Vanta are technically very good and great people to work with.

Reduction of the complexity of the security certification process, post-implementation mindshare and risk and great portal. Not worried about competitors because the client and shareholder base are Five stars on both counts.

I only learned about it last year or that it was not a solution on the market or security until recent times. Nothing else so far to dislike.

Automated compliance tracking saves time
What do you like best about the product?
Our goal is SOC 2 Type II attestation to begin, and then we will tackle other attestations such as ISO. We had undertaken a readiness project with one of the big names in accounting, but all was manual and we had to work hard to figure out what was actually needed for policies and configs. Everything is clearer with Vanta, expectations are clear, and systems are monitored which will save time for the attestation and also keeping us compliant. Our reason for selecting Vanta over 2 other compliance softwares was price and the automated connection with an auditor.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are cases where we have good reasons to not follow the exact path as laid out, but there is no way to add a note to explain an exceptionality. This would be useful, and could assist the auditor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obtaining SOC 2 attestation. Later other attestations such as ISO that will be useful for our non-North American clients and help us build a market in the UK.
Overall a good audit platform
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is an easy way to get your certifications done. The platform is designed to be user-friendly, making it accessible to even those who don't have a strong technical background. Additionally, Vanta provides clear and concise instructions that guide users through the certification process, making it much easier to get certified.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the pricing for Vanta is reasonable, it's hard to get an overall price for Vanta + Audits. The price estimations Vanta gave us for audits were a factor 2-3 under the quotes we got from Audit firms.
Vanta does provide excellent security/compliance scanning, but it may not always enhance the actual security as it often feels more like paper security. . However, these minor issues do not detract from the overall quality of Vanta as an audit platform for small businesses.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly platform, policies templates were very useful
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation process focused on just getting us to do a few tasks before getting a CSM felt pointless. Not due to the implementation person, but having calls on these things is a waste of time. I was pulled in late so perhaps a self service guide was shared - but would have been more useful to me personally.
