What do you like best about the product?
Effortless onboarding into something that typically requires a substantial amount of time to grasp fully. We were provided a well-defined roadmap to guide us smoothly towards achieving ISO 27001 certification. This ensured that we not only understood the nuances of the certification but also navigated its complexities with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I genuinely couldn't find any negatives with Vanta. It's an outstanding product that stands out in its category. Additionally, the team behind it is commendable for their flexibility, especially concerning payment arrangements. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of their service.

Easy, step by step SOC 2 process
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard made it really easy to track our progress and the policy templates were a lot of help for the many policies we didn't previously have.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the integrations was confusing. We connected to our Okta account and this I,ports all our customers as "employees." It took customer support a while to fix this for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers want us to be SOC 2 complaint.

This is helping me solve customer issues of risk, compliance and governance.
Powerful and Easier than expected
What do you like best about the product?
I run a start-up company and am not a developer, so what I really love about Vanta is the simplicity of setting everything up and how powerful it is in helping to keep on top of information security best practices and standards. Everything has great step by step instructions so I've been able to update cloud provider settings and controls and as a result I can sleep much better at night.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations are deeper than others. So depending on your tech stack you'll get more value through some controls than others. If you're AWS / Azure, Google Cloud etc. then no worries. Some of the smaller / newer players are not integrated yet which leaves a bit of a gap. Having said that, I researched the market and Vanta still have the most integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarly, Vanta is helping me to get ontop of our broader information security needs and controls. We have a small development team that is fully focussed on code and quality, which makes it difficult to allocate time for them to set-up various infosec controls. Vanta makes it easy for me to manage these personally and stay on top of everything.

Vanta has helped us achieve and maintain compliance with the SOC 2 standard.
Seemless Security
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes my life much easier. It provides warnings for security related issues and then offers step-by-step instructions for remediating them in a reasonable time period. This platform has enabled our company to be SOC-2 compliant with ease and that is a huge deal!
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta regularly sends out summary emails with "items requireding your attention" and when you click on them, most of them have already been remediated. These false alarms cause the summary emails to lose credibility so I usually ignore them which doesn't seem like a great process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is allowing us to maintain Soc2 compliance. Withuot SOC 2 compliance, we would not be able to onboard the majority of our customers. We handle a lot of PII and this warrants careful and thoughtful security practices which Vanta allows us to enact with ease.
Saves you more time than any other tool you've ever used!
What do you like best about the product?
It guides you. You don't need to know all of the intricacies of every compliance framework, just follow along and look like a genious at work. I've done compliance stuff before these types of automation tools existed and it was SOO painful learning it all, I basically gave up. Now it's, dare I say, actually enjoyable because the outcome is so significant (compliance)!

I've been using it for 6 months and can't think of anything yet.

Vanta seamless SOC2 audit
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has lots of functionality to integrate your exsiting system and make audit seamless, before Vana I was getting lots of evidences manually but after using vanta, we don't need to do it more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actully Vanta has lots of capibility of integration but if they increase scope of integration tools, it would be lot easier

Integrating vendors so we don't need to grab sample evidence manually
The most turnkey software for security audit readiness
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made the SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 process simplified and facilitated collaboration with the auditors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there were plenty of integrations with other platforms, there were still a few missing that we use internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta streamlined our audit-readiness and helped us ultimately pass our SOC audits.
I wish I had this software 3 years ago
What do you like best about the product?
My company started implementing SOC2 compliance 3 years ago. It was very painfull process. After we developed our security controls (which took pletny of time and energy) and approved them with our auditors we didn't have a year when we wouldn't miss something. After we deployed Vanta, everything became so much easier...
My team now is notified everytime when any of the controls are missed or regular processes to be executed. Vanta's Access Review component makes a regular access review process a brieze. For me Vanta provides a dashboard where I can see the status of our securituy controls and compliance situation which is great.

The controls templates that come with Vanta are a bit simplified.
